totally fine with doubling up, do you think (if we are missing one character type) one of the people who is doubles could also fill the role by being "well versed" in a variety of things (as a character)?

Thx for the sympathies on my teenager...it's difficult because he's 6 inches taller than me and the size of a full grown man...which seems to lead him to think that he really is a full grown man and he starts throwing attitude at me. Sigh. Only 3 more kids after him to get through the teen years. I don't know if I'll make it :P

And I'm sorry that you're having issues with your teen. :( When he's grown taller than you, that's when you sit him down so you can tower over him. This is easy if you have stairs as well. The lecturing is much more effective when it comes from above as opposed from below. I don't have kids but I get what it's like. It was the same thing with my brother when he argued with mum.

you can make it through them all, I have faith in you :D And not all of them will be the same. My mom raised 7 kids and only three of them were "very difficult/head-butting" through the teen years (not me lol). SO maybe not all of them will be the same?
I think it helps the younger ones to watch and know that mom does care and that there are consequences to behavior that is not seen as permissible by the parent(s).

Also, my mom is the shortest person in my family - everyone else is at least 2-9 inches taller than her. :P lol

sadly I already know that my daughter is going to give me fits as she gets older and my 4 yr old already shows all the signs of a serious trouble maker (he's like a carbon copy of his dad from everything I've been told...and daddy was always into something!). I think my 9 yr old might be my "easy" one. Fingers crossed! As for height...I'm 5ft 10inches tall, so not short by any means. But I come from tall genetic stock, so all of my kids are probably going to end up taller than me. Dr predicted that 4yr old will be 6ft 7inches when he's full grown! Apparently I produce giants lol :) Last night I made sure to have the conversation with the oldest while he was sitting down, but I still had to remind him at two different points in the "discussion" that I was the adult in the room and the owner of the home he is allowed to live in. He just exasperates me. But my wine was delicious :D

k, so this is what I have for our class preferences now. Please correct me if I messed anything up. If it is all ok, I'll let GR know. Me-Warrior -Bard -Ranger (with a heavy lean towards Aeronaut) -Vagabond -Mage -Ranger (with a heavy lean towards classic Ranger)

So we are only missing Alchemist, but I'm sure we can work around that :)
