yep, Alchemist...that's what I missed. I couldn't remember if that was a "basic" character class or if it was one that was after we went through the portal and they all changed.

I was the Ranger last time, and it was fun, but I think I'd prefer to try a different class this year. We've got time to figure it all out though :)

I am a little confused what class/theme thing we are all talking about - do we all have to be something different? What are the main classes that we are all having to choose from?

There are different "types" of characters, each one of us has to chose one. Last year I was a bard, for example c: I don't know if it's going to be like this this year, or maybe something different o:

character classes and their descriptions have been posted by GR. Please review and post here to let everyone know your preference. We have 6 classes to choose from and there are 6 of us, so each of us will need to fill one of the classes with no doubling up. I would prefer to play as either a bard or warrior. But I can work with any of the classes if one of you is dying to be a bard and another is just itching to punch people as our warrior :) Please let me know by this Sunday what your character class preference (s) is. If we have overlap, we'll work it out...remember Wayward Squirrel is supposed to be fun, so pick a class you think you would have fun acting out :)

I would like to be a ranger first and if someone is dying for that I could do a Mage. But my first desire would be to be a ranger <3

I'd like to play as a bard this time, if you don't mind. :) Switching up classes keeps things interesting.

Shae- Bard (1st)/Warrior (2nd) Ambition- Ranger (1st)/Mage (2nd) BlueIllusions- Bard (1st)

My first choice is ranger aka aeronaut since she flies space ships for a living! But I see also wants that and having other choices is a good idea. My second choice is Warriors/Privateers. She's not big into fighting or anything but she does have a temper and isn't afraid of much. Pure brute strength -no, fiery and skills with weapons-yes. Third place- Vagabonds/Polymaths because that class is a bit fuzzy on what they do, I think I might be able to make it work if we get stuck with too many people wanting the same thing.. I did it last year and it was okay but would rather do something different and prefer the ranger/aeronaut. :)

I think my first pick would be vagabond - seems like it'd be a fun change. Otherwise I'm happy with whatever.

I apologize in advance if this comes out garbled. I had a blow out with my 17yr old this evening and a full bottle of wine seemed like the only fitting follow-up to that...so I'm rather tipsy :)

What seems to be the best solution is this: bard vagabond ranger warrior would you prefer to play as a mage or alchemists? Whichever you choose, I'll take the other one.

well crud. On the Q&A board that GR put up today, she says we can have duplicates for character classes and don't need to have one of each class. I asked a clarification question just to make sure it wouldn't negatively impact us if we had doubles or missing classes. As long as she says it won't make challenges impossible...looks like we can have 2 Rangers or 2 of anything really I guess. So...my point in all that rambling is this: assuming it won't make this adventure a serious P.I.T.A. would you guys be ok with doubled up classes, which in turn means missing classes as well?
