According to GR's post, the captain has to post the HAs and the RP in one lump sum- pretty sure I read that (probably put it under spoilers as to keep things all neat and clean I guess?) though I am unsure about the character bios. Maybe just include really brief ones like "Warrior, companion so and so" Don't forget companions if you have them have to be mentioned right at the get go! In effect, if you have a companion, you will be role playing 2 characters; you and your companion.

As for , please do let GR know- our fearless captain here is then responsible if your character has a task to do (with our help of course), so let her know and we can cover ^.^ Same goes for anyone who takes a break or goes someplace this summer too :) This is why group play is awesome, cause single play would let people miss out. I myself will be going the end of June though I do not know if this will still be going on or not.

For the roleplay part, might I suggest we do make a backstory (brief) somewhat for our group, like how they met, if any know each other before hand, like if some of them went to collage together or if someone has a bounty on their head so another member is going along to keep tabs on his or her paycheck ...stuff like that. It may be more cohesive if our characters have had some sort of interaction before hand so it will make more sense that they team up for this mission. Course, they don't have to, they might have just met up at that bar thing there and went why the heck not? Let's go! and then regretted it when they sobered up with the aw hell what did I get myself into. But even that would still be some sort of get together sort of thing, especially since we are going up against groups that have been together before and will be cohesive at the get go. I know what I mean XD I am good either way we go about it

Yep, I post the HA group image and the group RP where we introduce ourselves and explain our preparations for the journey/adventure. I like the idea of a combined backstory where we become a team prior to the tavern entrance...but the impromptu formation has merit too.

As far as the HAs, I have two thoughts:

1. We can use the individual HAs we've already created in the RP segments
2. Do we then need a group image with us dressed differently, or should I just take our existing HAs (minus background) and layer them like Frieda did in the CH 1 board?

I think that when GR says post in a group, she means all our photos and bios must be posted together by our Captain Jess, not literally in a group photo. Wouldnt it be great if we could have a team photo like the battle of the bands! Ive got photoshop elements, but Im only a very poor novice for merging images,anyone any good at that? I made a boo boo, my holiday is the 18 to 25th JULY, not May! i got mixed up because my daughter booked it, Ive told GR the correct date, I hope its not the last week of the plot!

I can definitely merge them if there's no background, it's just layering. I can probably put a separate background layer in too, now that I'm thinking about it. But, it would be simpler to just post our six HAs all in a row.

I don't think we should use the Gearloose Goose bg yet as we haven't reached the borderlands....or am I confused (again lol) I need to read the previews and story up to this point again.

No no, that is fine, twas just an example :) There are 3 other squirrel BGs that I know of that are not the fireflies or the Gearloose, one is outside, another is inside with a big squirrel bartender and the third is inside with a lute player in the background Course, we could use any thing we want, including layering the group like they did in BotB onto something entirely different ^.^ At least, I /think/ we can do that. Maybe they want em to be specific. Or maybe we can do both- each post with (or without) a background as we individually see fit, and then do a group shot for cohesion Also wic, I am about, just setting up mah new pet, cause the name was free and I HAD TO

I figured out that BotB = battle of the bands...but I have no idea what that event was like.

I really like the layered look so sans bg would be great...if that's not the group consensus, matching bgs is fine.

Until Ire is back we can cover :) Heck my first go round on this, it ended up just being 3 of us that participated in the end lol, we still got like 4th place which is not too shabby ^.^ And yep, you did not miss much lol, it was fun but a lot of people were all upset by it.
