I haven't done it in ages, but I typically stalk names whenever I get ready to add new slots. I haven't added new pets in what... a year? Eventually I'll add more and I'll go back to stalking, but I don't play enough to get the good ones, sadly.

I will occasionally browse names, but I'm not much of a stalker after the one incident. I had one name I really, really wanted and I was going to be able to be on at the right time to snag it and I waited, patiently. I only mentioned the name i was after to two or three of my good friends, including one of my former best mates on here, the pet cleared, they snagged the name and I was SUPER excited....only to be told that no, she'd taken that name so she could give it to one of her -other- friends.

So while I may check every now and again after a big clearing, I don't bother otherwise.
