hehe online is good for ordering :D that explains it. lol thanks, though I dont think you can mess her hair up much more :P
nods although then you have to pay postage.... unless you spend 60 quid and I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon! ;) It's a pity that the sample piece that you can order isn't quite big enough, as that's only a quid laughs Not sure if I've shown you the pattern I found for the scrapbook - it's this one (link) :) I figured that 6x4 card would be less daunting than a 12x12 scrapbook, and also should work out cheaper!
😮 what do you mean?? I'm sure she spent a ton of money getting her hair styled just like that! :P

yes I can see where that'd be a problem :P that book looks awesome :D haha yes it takes a lot of style products to look that disheveled
hehe I mean I could probably find that much material & yarn on their site, but Mum would go ballistic! :P
:D That's my project for the summer, when (hopefully) there'll be a quieter spell craft-wise :D Ironically, my only projects to do before Easter were going to be finishing off my kimono jacket, and making Gran a Christmas apron (she chose the material), and it's now turned into making a bear & those bags as well laughs

haha I can't imagine why :P hehe you keep adding projects :D
hehe I did suggest the 20 metres of random dressmaking fabric bundle (14.99, so under a quid per metre even including postage) as a way of trying out some clothing patterns without using decent fabric, but she said it might not be worth it (as you don't know what material the fabric will actually be, so you could end up with a load of satiny stuff that's hard to work with). Although satiny fabrics would make a nice Kimono jacket :P
I put a list of UFOs on my blog to try and keep track.... I've already had to add a couple to that that I've started since the new year 😊

you think she just doesnt want you to buy it? -giggles- UFOs lol
laughs she was moaning about the amount of space it takes up.... then told me I'd need to get some decent material to make that bag o.O :P
hehe that sounds a lot better than works in progress :P

haha well at least she can't get mad if you buy nice material :P true lmao
laughs that's true ;)
I've put the dress, kimono and apron on hold for the moment (no material yet for the dress anyway :P), so I can concentrate on just the bear & bags. Otherwise I think my brain won't be able to cope with the amount of ideas sitting there!

I hear ya, sometimes you just gotta focus on smaller amounts.
definitely - it's why I've avoided making anything for friend's kids, as I can't handle the time pressure.... which means that making this bear & bag was probably a dumb plan of mine laughs
Speaking of craft, how's your knitting going?

lol you saw how I was cracking up during Christmas. I'm almost finished a project for which I can't post on the boards since Lene reads it ;) lol
hehe I was worse before that - I abandoned all craft stuff for about a month as I couldn't get my head around how to concentrate on just one thing at a time 😊
Awesome! :D And that's a point - I'll have to make sure I don't post any pictures on my blog of anything that you or Lene shouldn't see, until it's arrived with you :P

haha I dont blame you. I had to put the bear aside so I had enough time to do the other projects lol. aww I dont mind looking ;)
whoa, love the under the pier outfit! goes to see what the background is :D
I might try and get the bear stuffed & stitched today actually - at least then I can spend time on the other item, as if they didn't get that until July, it wouldn't matter too much :D
hehe trouble is, if you saw even a glimpse of the item, you'd remember it by the time your birthday / Christmas came around, so it wouldn't be a surprise :P
[edit]
One stuffed bear :D ....with a face that looks quite cat-like o.O :P

Hey, rules are meant to be broken, right? 👼 Any planes for what you will be planting this season? :) Personally I would do strawberries all the way. I just love them. lol
I either seem to water them too much or they will get too dry. o_o Plus, Salem loves to nibble on leaves... and I am always worried that he will get sick from eating on them. I never really tried outdoor plants (living in a flat doesnt really work for that :P) tho. :)
Whats shakin bacon? :D

hehe that's true ;) :D We've got about 48 strawberry plants on the allotment in the raised beds, plus 9 in pots (left over from giving them away), and another 8 or so in the ground - if they all crop, we'll be eating strawberries all summer long! :D For the rest of the allotment, it's Broad beans, Runner Beans (netted to stop the deer eating the plants), Peas, Carrots (I've got some seeds for short carrots this year, to save wonky long ones :P), Rhubarb (assuming it grows where I replanted some of it over the winter), Blackberries, herbs (mainly mint & lavender), and Raspberries (they grow wild on the entire site, so the plants are free!) :D
Yeah, I can see how house plants wouldn't work that well if Salem likes to eat them! You could always have a knitted pot plant instead - that would never die off ;)

Now that sounds like a tasty selection of fruits and berries. :D My gran used to grow rhubarb.. they are super tasty! We used to dip them into sugar and nom on them. Or my mum would make soup out of it... for dessert. ^_^
Hehe.. I do have a few fake plants around my flat. Just enough work for me. lol

thank you its the that Riptide has. I commented him and he put one in trades so perhaps he has more spares? If not, I'm always happy to lend. lol true, great memory is bad for somethings I suppose. Aww the teddy is adorable ! not much chickenbutt. You?
