I didn't think the dress would look so good with the long train down the side, but RP-Raven definitely makes it work ;) Thanks :) I wanted the red costume from alchemy, but I couldn't figure out what tincture to use, so I made the blue one instead :P

I think I want to make a headband to go with my sweater- as I have enough yarn left for that. :D And a supporter hat for the fall/early winter soccerseason. :) Have not yet finished the bag dispenser either. xD So I have a few things I can work on. :)

a headband will look brilliant :D I knitted some headbands before, but the last one I made was sewn from strands of jersey fabric - that was a lot more bulky, but it doesn't stretch out of shape like the knitted ones did ;)

That doesn't give you long to make a hat before the football season starts up again!

I figured it would look cute with the sweater. ;) I have never knitted one before actually, only a couple of hats.

The soccer season here is from march to late october/november. So it can get pretty cold during the last part of the season! Plenty time before its cold enough for me to want to wear a hat tho. So its all good. :)

I got on better making the headband than a hat - the hat I tried was a bit smaller than it was meant to be :P

Whoa, that's a late end to the season! Our soccer season's ended for the summer, but they start again in August (I think) - there's always matches in the winter, but then it doesn't get as cold over here as it does over with you! ;)

It helps if you make the had a bit stretchy.. but yep. It can be tricky get knitted clothes to fit like you want them too. o-o I lucked out with my owl hat.. fit perfectly. :P

:nods: Playing soccer in the snow is not that easy. lol Could be entertaining to watch tho. :D Or like my mum says.. give them all one ball each- then they dont have to fight for the one ball. 👼

nods I messed up the carrying of the yarn on the hat I knitted, so it lost a lot of the stretch it should've had :P laughs now that would make a great football game!

the blue one needed blue and white tinctures - red on its own didn't work, and I ran out of patience to try multiple colours :P

ah I see. that does sound frustrating. the light went off for the sensor, at about 170 miles, but then came back on.

So today was kinda mixed, we did the drive and at 170miles, the light went off and we rejoiced thinking it was just needing a re-test, but that was short lived as the light came back on. So dad has to go to the tag office to get a waver showing the failed tests and that we need more time to short this out. And hope that the dealership can sort it as it was already $600. While at having our lunch at an Irish Pub, the bartender hit mum's water and it spilled all over dad. Thankfully he was not hurt and it dried quickly because of the heat. We went to the civil war naval museum and it was eh. They'd changed a lot of it was I was rather disappointed at how little they had. Then we went to the military base, had an ice cream drove home. I got a lovely painful sunburn too lol.

SL has the tinctures listed now - apparently it's red and grey for the red suit ;)

Awww that's a pain in the rear that the sensor light came back on :K Hopefully they'll be able to fit it, and not just tell him to drive it a load more miles again! That sounds a frustrating day though, especially with the museum changing things around like that :( hands you some aloe vera cream for the sunburn

Mine has all been just knitted in one colour.. so its def. easier that way. xD

Its not the best weekend here.. I found out yesterday that I have to put Salem to rest... next week. He is sick with a cat virus that cant be cured. Poor thing is not doing so well, so its the best for him. Still heartbroken tho... as I had him for aboutr 15 years now....
