apparently on the purl row (assuming you're knitting flat), you're meant to twist the yarn in the opposite direction to untangle it.... but I got it in a worse knot like that 😊 :P I've got the striped shirt almost done - left the sleeves for next week ;)

depending on how long you've been gone, there's a couple more "official" shops as well - Go Outdoors and Cavern of Curios spring to mind ;) There's also a new land.... Shengu can't-remember-how-you-spell-it :P It's on the explore map ;) Anything in particular you noticed the price jump for? (CSC / gold accounts are really pricey still)

Mostly the CSC & Gold Accounts really, very surprised at the prices! I saw a few new potions as well, LOVE love love the Storm Potion colour. Gorgeous!

nods each month there's a bonus weekend for CSC purchases (15% extra I think?) but even with that, it doesn't do much to knock the prices back down. But, if you do all the quests you possibly can, you can earn quite a lot of sP, so at least there's a way of getting closer to the gold account price without having to spend real money ;)

Storm is one of my favourites :D There's also Harvest, and a new pet that is yet to be released (check back through the last few days in the news posts and click through to the forum thread) ;)

hehe I've already planned which pet will get changed into that - I don't mind what it's called, if it relates to tea / tea leaves, it'll be perfect for one of my pets :D And there's achievements for each (I think) pet colour too.... including the new ones ;)

I couldn't resist putting RP-Paddy in the flowers again today.... although her hayfever isn't too happy ;)

Oh yeah, I saw those! I got a couple of pets and potioned/elixired them until I had most of the coloured achievements, still need a few of the more expensive ones but after spending so much I can wait for those.

I've been questing til max the past few days and it's definitely worth it for the sP I noticed. The items on top are a bonus! I've got some nice retireds from this weekend, too!

if you've got a spare pet slot, you could always trawl the adopt-r-us and see if there's any in there you can adopt for the achievement ;) nods I don't always quest that much, but it's always worth it for the bonus weekend, and especially for this weekend's special! :D

:D I think I'll have to make it up to her tomorrow though, given that a sneezing werewolf isn't a happy werewolf :P

Hehe.. I found moving the yarn back everytime worked the best.. but its such a pain in the rear. lol But saving on yarncost is awesome. Plus, I find it near impossible to get the knit to be flat when you do fair isle type knitting! Especially carrying the yarn all over the the other side of the knit. o_o

Yay! Hoping to see more shirt pics later then. :D Happy with how its turning out? :)

:nods: I know its not your style.. but it works great with my interior here. :D

How are we today? :)

hehe at least it isn't the full moon - that'd make her even worse company :P

yeah, I carried the yarn over on the inside on a hat - the instructions didn't say to carry it as a 'float' rather than twisting the yarn every 4 stitches like you'd normally do, so of course the hat doesn't stretch as much as it should, and it came out a bit smaller than I'd expected 😊 So far the shirt looks like it's the right size (for a change!) :D I took an inch off at the shoulder on the front, so it's not quite as revealing :P and hopefully the slightly mis-matching stripes on the back won't show too much ;) If this one works, I can cut another from the fabric Mum found me, but I wanted to test it in cheaper fabric first to make sure the sizing is ok! ;)

Even with twisiting I find it often to get too tight. Maybe that is just me tho. :P Its easier with only a few stitches between the colourchanges for sure. :)

Yay! :D Sounds like it will look great! :D What kinda fabric did she pic up for the final one then? :) I started on knitting in the arms for my sweater. Its done that way rather than sewing them on later. :) Was fiddly. :P But at least that part is done. The rest should be ok I hope.

nods I was a bit wary of just floating the stitches, but if I made that hat again, I think I'd end up just twisting them at the colour change and not in between! ;)

She found me a white polycotton with purple flowers - it feels nicer than the polycotton I can get in town, so it should make for a really nice shirt :D I've given up with the buttonhole idea for fastening it though, so I'll use press studs and just stitch decorative buttons on the front :P

oooo that does sound fiddly, but at least you don't have to try sewing them on, so they should be attached a lot more securely :D :D

Do you find growing vegetables easy? I've often thought about trying to grow some bits on our balcony, I have the soil and the pots but then I just have no clue what to grow/when to grow. Any tips for a very small space? I am good thank you! Cooking some Roast Pork, the smell is so good it's not good for a hungry belly lol

Certain ones are easier than others - strawberries should do well on a balcony (Morrisons sometimes have a few plants for sale quite cheaply), just put three or four in a pot (probably about 30cm across pot) make sure you keep them watered, and they should fruit quite well :D Also, once they've fruited, you usually get small 'plantlets' growing, so you get more plants to pot up for the next year ;)

Carrots aren't quite as easy, but if you get the round variety (then they don't need to have as much pot depth to grow down into), they're meant to be easier - sow the seeds thinly, and when the top is about an inch across (just below the soil level) they're ready to pick ;)

Chives are pretty hard to kill laughs they just need a pot and you can cut bits whenever you want ;) (again, you can sometimes get a pot of them growing from a supermarket for quite a cheap price)

mmmmm roast pork sounds delicious :D :D
