admittedly not the most creative of ideas, but it was the best RP-Paddy could think of :P
I love the outfit today, by the way :D
[edit]
The fabric arrived - three lots of canvas, and a "bargain bag" of 20m of dress-making fabric, although I can only identify a linen type so far (it's random stuff, and they don't put a label on it to tell you what you have):
(trying to ignore the lime spots :P)
There's some shiny stuff, stretchy, linen (or linen-mix), and whatever that red / black one is laughs

Love the fabrics you have chosen for your tops! :D I am still knitting my pillow. Painstakingly counting and recounting, to make sure I get the colourchanges right and using intarsia I spend a lot of time untangling yarn. lol
Thanks dear. I had fun playing with my new owl branch. :D

Thanks :D
hehe I'm glad it isn't just me that gets the yarn in a tangle with intarsia 😊 ;) I did read somewhere to twist the yarn the opposite way on every other row, but I still get it knotted :P

I have done plenty of fair isle type of knitting. but intarsia is all new to me. xD

'proper' intarsia is where you don't carry the border colour over, isn't it? I've done one project in that style, but I tend to prefer where I can carry the yarns at the back, as there's less ends to get knotted too laughs ;)

Yup, that is the one. xD It works better for this one, if I carry the yarn over from one side to the other.. its really hard to get the knit flat and the strand between the sides lose enough. o-o

that's a good point - if there's more than 4 stitches, you'd have to twist it multiple times, and then it really wouldn't look right on the finished side ;) Hopefully there's not too many ends to knot / weave in though! ;)

:nods: I reckon its gonna save me some yarn as well. ;) I dont think it will be too bad. Not my favorite part of a project tho. xD

That's one reason why I want to learn the "join as you go" method for granny squares - all those ends! :P
It should save a lot of yarn if you're not carrying it over :D :D

it worked :) Magnus thought it was nice. you mean lack of outfit lol. Yours is really pretty :) ooh some good fabric! it looks great.
:D I'm amazed he recognised what the drawing was meant to be of :P
hehe thanks :D I thought I'd take some inspiration from yours, and cover my HA totally ;)
:D Mum's tried identifying the fabric.... we're on "shiny" and "not so shiny" now laughs

He's used to seeing himself in scribbles from the orphanage kids, but he said it was pretty good. mine was simply not knowing whatelse to do. lol well that works lol.
laughs it was more a stick figure llama :P
hehe well, much the same for me - I just looked through the ground layer then figured out a background that'd go with it :P

hehe it was tempting to try drawing it on the computer and posting it on the thread :P

lol you could xD and use it for the drawing entry xD
I never thought of that! makes a note of it for the weekend :D

and awesome outfits - RP-Raven looks stunning! :D
