-gigglesnorts- here's some interesting reading Apparently Mohair is from goats which I did not know. I set aside the project I was working on to start my camel real quick as I've been itching to make it. lol started on one leg. I thought it'd be cute to have a knitting corner with each type of animal that gives wool, hence finding this site. Now already I have 2 patterns in mind for the sheep, one pattern for the llama and of course the camel. So now I need to find a oxen (yak), goat and rabbit patterns that I like

I never knew you could have camel hair wool! That's a neat idea for your knitting corner :D I wonder if the "knitted farm animals" book might have a suitable pattern for the goat and oxen maybe (I've only ever knitted the from the farm book so far :P)

I have a zoo book. Finding the ox/yak pattern might be difficult :/ so far only seen one pattern and its rather expensive for a single pattern.

well if you're feeling in the mood to look, wouldn't say no to some help xD the only one so far I found was $8 for the pattern which seems rather steep since even Alan Dart is cheaper. well Baxter doesn't tend to bother me and Lucy is in her room at night so its only Nigel and Amelia
