hehe that sounds so much like Sid.... he starts chatting away when he thinks we should be awake, even if his cage is still covered over ;) Although admittedly it's not as bad as being meowed at straight in your ear ;)

Yeah I'm highly annoyed at the zapper. hehe that's why pets and pests are so close in spelling ;). Haha yeah its highly annoying but cute at the same time.

Maybe the zapper doesn't like us kicking it, and we should be handing cake to Euclid instead? ;)

I can zap now lol but I'm kinda dreading it. i know I'm so mean. -nods- Gonna be hard to shut my head off but very happy lol. I did notice a huge pull/fray in a seam on the neck gusset on fox two. I've hand sewn a new seam there and he'll be mind now, cos I know I could repair it if something happens.

That's good that you noticed it, so you know that's definitely safer staying with you :D Nothing worse than finishing a project, then finding a run in the fabric / a hole in the knitting, and having to try and repair it so nobody would know it was there 😊

yeah especially if its a gift. I repaired some seams in the other one too but this one was a huge ladder fray at the seam so I must have been too close to the edge. it was tricky to sew over it and had to go kind far in o.0

argh, that zapper really has got a thing against you! :K

The only way I know of getting around that, would be to undo the back stitches you did by hand, unstuff it, turn it inside out again, unpick the head seam and try to redo it on the machine.... but that isn't the easiest of things to achieve, especially once the fabric has started fraying on that edge :K You could always knit a small scarf for the fox, and hand sew it to the neck to cover the repair? ;)

I know right? o.0 yeah that's what I've done when I've caught it before. I think making the new seam worked out okay -hopes- But thankfully you can't tell too much. Fiona is happy about that. She says shes a foxy lady. (oh dear, the fox is talking to me lol) that's a very... pink outfit.

hehe just as long as the fox doesn't say she wants a load of new foxy friends, you're ok :P

Nah, it isn't all that pink - just the jacket.... the rest is coral 😇

haha I've got several fox patterns I haven't gotten around to making yet. lol no, the skirt, the carpet, the bg... its all pink :P

The skirt is coral (in fact, it's actually "gray blossom" :P ) but I'll go along with the bg having pink elements :P

[edit] Today's project: Not the clearest of photos, but it's a fox-coloured bear (or will be, once I've turned the arms, stuffed everything, then sewn the arms on & stitched the nose & mouth ;)) - that's Mum's extra Mother's Day gift ;)

hehe one way I found of getting back into a view I've seen way too often, is to try taking an unusual photo (a friend of mine took photos of a lego person around where he used to live :P), or go for a walk and imagine you're a tourist, so stop at all the things you'd normally walk straight past ;)

has my fingers crossed those slippers turn out the right size :D

I've been trying to sew a small bear - if it comes out ok, it'll be part of Mum's Mother's Day present (that gives me until Sunday to finish it!) ;)
