I'll definitely be putting pics of it online (assuming it works of course!) :D Sewing is a lot quicker than knitting - certainly for making a hat at least, seeing as the fabric's already there, you just need to cut & stitch it :D I can figure out how to make a toy in crochet now without a pattern, but I'm still getting to grips with it in fabric - I've not yet worked out how to get all the shapes to work in 3d laughs

thanks :D I love your kitty outfit - that looks brilliant! :D Once you get the hang of the way you need to increase / decrease for shaping, it's not that bad to try making up your own patterns - sometimes though it's not easy to get them looking quite like it started out in my head :P
