yeah, those ends were driving me crazy 😊 I ended up just knotting another piece of yarn to one square, and using that to sew all the row of squares - the method of using the L shaped stitching looks a load neater though ;)

nods definitely! Nice warm sunny weather definitely makes it more interesting to be heading outside for a walk :D Or autumnal weather with nice piles of leaves to walk through ;)

I am gonna try to do some some of it as I go.. to make it less painful.

I love the crisp autumn days as well! Here they tend to be a bit too windy tho. :P But the colors are so beautiful. :)

nods or maybe just make a couple of larger granny squares - I did a few 12 inch ones, just so there were less to sew! ;)

Yeah, strong winds aren't much help :( They're forecasting rain from tomorrow evening, so I'm hoping to make the most of the sunshine and get the allotment sorted this afternoon laughs The soil's quite like clay where I need to dig it over, so it's hopeless trying to dig if it's been raining, as your feet sink into it too :P

I ended up making mine quite small. Only 3 rounds. :P Eeep eeep eeep. :D Might not be too terrible tho, unless I wait all the way to the end with completing it. :)

Hopefully you will get most of it sorted today then. :) I guess there is not much left of the season for your allotment.

those are quite small!! But one advantage is that the colours will look awesome - smaller squares have more impact than the really large ones ;) :D

Most of it's getting the raised bed ready for the strawberry plants - once we get the first frosts next month, then most of the plants will be finished.... other than the onions I want to plant, and maybe some broad beans to grow under a fleece cover over the winter ;) If it's dry though, the winter can be a good chance to get everything dug over ready for the spring ;)

My mum and one of my nieces are coming over on Sunday. We are doing dinner here, and a walk. ^_^

That is what I figured. especially since its a pillow and not the largest project in the world. ^_^

Woah, sounds like you will be plenty busy! :D Brilliant way to get some fresh air and work those muscles you never knew you had until you get sore. xD

I got the top earlier, so I had to use it - it also dawned on me that I don't have a Ginny pet.... so that could be my next one maybe? ;) (keep reading)

it's definitely muscles I didn't know I had! We got the raised bed in place (after I dug out enough soil to make it level - silly sloping allotment site :P), I filled it while Dad worked on getting the net sorted out ;) I wanted to tie two nets together, but they're not quite wide enough :K so we'll have to head back down on Sunday just to check the deer haven't eaten everything they could reach through the hole in the side :K ;)

Workout and yummy things to eat is not a bad deal. :) Hopefully the deer will behave themselves. :) I got such a surprise when I saw a one with its nose into the window, just looking at Pusur on the other side. Was adorable. Went off before I could take a picture tho. :K

@ Raven Turnes out my brother and his other kids are coming too!:D

Dad reckons we didn't need the net at all, but I don't believe him (the last time we didn't net strawberry plants, the deer pulled up every plant I'd put in :K) :P hehe knowing me, I'll have several ideas by the time my loyalty box arrives 😊

that would've been amazing to get a photo! You never know - as the weather gets colder, it might come back, especially if your landlord has a nice lot of tasty plants in the garden ;) :D

see? :D shenanigans lol maybe its your dad going to the allotment at night nibbling on your plants in his pjs to make it LOOK like wildlife? :P He's blushing and says thank you. He's reading a book called, "Gnomebody gnomes my sorrow" Its a book about a garden gnome who was seeking adventure. Dash isn't picky with what he reads lol
