Sounds exciting Mina! I don't have any experience with Kia's at all so I cannot comment. Only have owned Fords most of my life.

I don't think Kwixis can beat the super careaper at all... he was having trouble with the regular one as it is! I suppose I could try.

Kia's are decent cars. Very cost efficient, at least until things go wrong. You either get a perfect one, or a murphy's law kia. Personally I kinda enjoy them, but have never had to deal with costs. So do a thorough check on the year you plan on picking up for their standard issues and recalls. And there is my two cents from working in the car industry.

My mom bought a 2006 Kia Rio brand new back in the day, we still have it now, and while we kept up on maintenance, she's been an awesome lil car! Usually gets 30mpg, and she's a manual so she's out of the gate like a racecar <3 Now we've gone waaaay too many miles without a checkup though and she's starting to crap out. We definitely need to get her into the doc! My mom and son also want a Soul. I'm less sold on that and would rather get the Optima, or maybe a Nissan Altima or Versa hatchback... or '13 Dodge charger if I'm bordering on dreaming, But yeah, I love our Kia. <3

Sounds like some will have a relaxing day today. Eric has to work, so we won't do much until the later afternoon. Maybe lunch somewhere not as popular as the normal places and a movie. I wanted to get him a tie that would work for our wedding, but stores don't carry an emerald green color.

We've had 2 kia's and loved them both, fantastic vehicles - though maintenance is key to a very long life with them! We almost went back to a kia when hubby traded in the durango, but instead he went with the 200 because he liked the deal he was getting better..

Heading off to faire, going to be a very long day <3 it's cold but thankfully my outfit has plenty of layers to it & my cloak is going to do a wonderful job of keeping me nice and toasty...I'll see about posting some pics to my facebook wearing it :D

Thanks for the info Kelli & Theresa. I'm likely getting a 2015 soul - just need to figure out the financials. The warranty is really what got me interested in it, and they seem to be a good price compared with a lot of other new/newer used cars.

My V-Day was...eh. I spent it with my sister. Bryant had a wrestling tournament he had to go to since he's a coach. I was hoping that when he came home he'd have flowers or something for me, but nope. I got nothing. I was pretty disappointed. I know it's just another day and you don't need a holiday to celebrate how you feel about each other, but it would be nice. I would like to go to a nice dinner where we have to dress up and I'd like to get flowers and chocolates like every other girl does. But he's el cheapo. Oh well. At least I had a good day with my sister. We went shopping. Mall wasn't as busy as I expected it would be with there being all these President's Day sales going on. I spent more than I should have though. I did well but I'm at the point where I've been frugal for so long that spending money hurts.

I'm glad Survival is back. It just sucks that I won't be able to spend much time enjoying it. I'm soooo busy at work right now. I'm the only one in my department at 40 hours right now because I'm so busy doing so many things. It's my last week training to be analyst. I'm nervous about taking over and I'm going to have a toooooon of stuff to do, but I'm excited too. GOing to be sad to say goodbye to Casey though. I'm going to miss him. He's my favorite person to work with.

That sounds adorable Kelli. You can't see my yard... it's buried under tons of snow :P We got more overnight and I guess we're getting more in a couple days... and more next weekend LOL. I started seedlings last week and they are sprouting! Now I'm worried I started them too soon and I'll have nowhere to plant them ;)

LOL I planted tons of flowers: Petunias, pansies, snapdragons to name a few. I have a couple of flats with seeds that I'm not sure what they are (I collected them from last years flowers). So I guess it will be a fun surprise lol!

That's awesome! I have no idea how to collect seeds. I might have to look into it. I know when I get the random seeds, I like some more than others. Collecting from the ones I like most would be cool.
