It truly has been a not fun year... Loosing a parent is never easy and a couple of great friends cough aka Jenn and Theresa (zabeth) helped me through the loss of my dad. He was my best friend.. we had date nights at the casino together once a week for years... I knew when I brought him to my sisters I would not be getting him back and when I flew up this last time I knew I was saying good bye I just didnt expect it to happen the very next night.. I truly believe that this country needs to figure some things out.. Why when our animals are sick and cant be cured are we allowed to put them to sleep humanely... and when any one of any age is sick and there is no hope do we make them suffer till the bitter end. I was there holding my dads hand when he passed and the last 7 hours of his life he suffered... It is something that I will never forget and wouldnt wish on my worst enemy.. Christmas this year will be rough it was dads favorite time of year, but I have a grandson who expects all of grandma's traditions So I will work my way through this funk that I have been in and make Christmas magical for him. Jenn you know I love you and I am always here for you no matter what time of the day or night...

So mom has decided she's not ready to go yet. She's been up and down, sometimes talking and eating, sometimes sleeping and not wanting to eat. Such an emotional roller coaster! I guess we'll just take it day by day.

Aww Im sorry about your mom. Its never easy when the end is near. in one breath you hope they hang on so you dont have to say goodbye, but in another breath, you want them to go so the suffering is over. I hope she is comfortable and resting well.

Christmas to me... First and foremost, Christmas is the celebration of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him I would be lost. Some of my favorite things during the Christmas season are the rain that we get here, Christmas movies, and watching my sister play video games while we're wrapped up in blankets drinking coffee!

Very beautiful Christmas thoughts, . I know the elf didn't ask but I am back teaching junior high at a Catholic school. I'm absolutely loving sharing my love of Christmas with them and making sure their focus isn't on the presents.

So as you all know, the cults are going away. We have 16 members, and half of those members we haven't seen in years. I moved the sP over into our ping group (600k) and I've donated the cheap items(stuff worth less than 5k) to the DC. There are 24 uncarved pumpkins and 1 carved pumpkin I can give to whoever needs them for the achievement. We do have a couple of pricey items that I'm thinking of running a Lumi HA contest for. I guess my question to you all is, do I keep it to the people that are members of the cult? Or do I open it to the PS group? The top prize would be a Melody Chance Bag with runner up getting a Citrus Charms Bubblegum Wig. The only other items in there are 1 vesnali coin and a Saggi scratch card. What do you guys think?

I'm not a member of the cult. I wouldn't be offended if you excluded us non-members. (But I might play along just for fun. :P)
