Just got home and settled from my grandmother's. She's still got no WiFi, so I couldn't post yesterday, but happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone!

I did some shopping today. I had a couple of things on my list that I wanted to get, and I got almost everything I wanted. Just a few things that I'll have to order sometime, but overall I'm quite happy. I got a new comforter set for half price after looking for one for months! And the usual new tops and a new pair of jeans which is really needed since I'll be starting my new job Monday. Orientation starts at 8:30 am. I am not ready for that early morning wake up call! I've been so spoiled with the commute to my old job where I could walk there in 20 minutes or take a shuttle that took about 10 minutes. Now I've got a real commute where it will take me closer to 50 minutes to get to work! Cheers to really entering adulthood :)

My pet Jazz just made it to tier 10. I'm excited. Now, I need weapon suggestions to add to my wishlist. Wheeeeee!!!

Congrats Anna! Captured Eternal Flame is a good bomb that sometimes freezes your opponent. I can't remember which opponent gives that one out... Enchanted Key Staff is another tier 10 weapon... I think it comes from Blackheart Hollow, so good luck snagging one lol Possessed Bow is also from BHH Pretty Big Tooth is from an opponent... I think Bonesaw? Hmmm. Maybe Jeff could be more helpful LOL

Mine went better than expected, but it was kinda stressful. Politics only came up once and it went away as fast as it came, thankfully. My mother is in a wheelchair now, so that was a bit stressful trying to navigate her around the house. Just glad it's over.

Sorry I've been so silent here everyone, I miss ya'll! 2016 has realllly kicked my butt whew. Broke up with my guy, found out my job was laying everyone off active Dec. 9th, and quite a few other things. I can't wait to ring in 2017! On the bright side, it looks like I have a new job all lined up, so there's one worry off my back :)

Thanks for all the thoughts and wishes. Unfortunately mom is not going to get better. Ever since my dad passed 3 1/2 years ago, her heart's been broken and she's wanted to follow him. The past 2 months has been spent in hospitals and rehab, but the past couple days she's gone downhill quickly. Her heart is weak and we believe she had a stroke. She just turned 87 last Monday. She can no longer talk and she's been sleeping most of the time. Just got an update from my sister, she's awake this morning and she ate some breakfast. She's still not talking. But they are keeping her comfortable.

Hugs Jenn and anyone else that's toughing it through this rough year. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom, Jenn. My Mom got a stint put in earlier this year. She didn't know what was wrong; the woman drove herself to the ER and didn't even call me until she was there already. Stubborn to a T, but I'm so grateful the ER realized what was going on and saved her. She had a 99% blockage, we almost lost her. So darn scary.

I'm so sorry Jenn. We went through a lot with Tom's mom this year, who passed away in June (actually over the past few years). It's so hard to witness. Sending best thoughts to her, you and your family.

Glad your mom is OK Jade, and sorry to hear that you're having a rough time too.

I agree, 2016 has really sucked. For anyone who wants a little catharsis, and doesn't mind excessive use of the f-word and a little touch of liberal politics, this video is great link.
