Heading to the Pirate festival later this afternoon after the hubby and the plumber finish fixing the issue with our well pump/system...fingers crossed this is a couple hours more thing and not an all day thing...

Yeah, in the past, you could unlock skins, but you had to keep them until you cured them or got a new one. They weren't saved. I remember I kept the midna skin for like 6 months because I liked it so much, but eventually cured it because I missed my zombie skin. (And then they revamped the wardrobe by next Morostide. This is only the 2nd one that we could zap skins to unlock, I believe.) So, that might be what you're remembering.

questions for anyone... when you zap to get a skin... do you have to wear it for a certain period of time before you can take it off? i zapped and got the eyeball one... removed my skin right away and not it's saying i don't have it... weird

I've never had a problem popping the skin right off after getting it.

I figure new items will likely get added Monday or Tuesday so hopefully the patch gives it up before then so I can move on to other areas!!

Went to the Boynton Beach pirate festival today...what a joke. We were so disappointed, though I guess if we were into getting drunk in public it may have been more for us. They closed down a two lane street and had vendors set up on both sides of the road leaving about 5 feet of walk space (that's being generous) and hundreds of people pushing, shoving, and generally being rude. Most of the vendors had nothing to do with anything even remotely pirate related and the prices were insane - when it's cheaper for me to get something at the Florida Renaissance Festival there's a problem since we generally consider most Faire items to be far over priced...who would have thought this 'little' festival would have been so much more expensive to buy anything from. Parking was $10 to park in a grass lot, but entrance to the festival was free and there were plenty of things to do for free as well including some great entertainment - though no where near enough seating in those areas. We did get to see a few of our friends from Faire, but with so many people pushing and shoving for space it was difficult to hold any kind of conversation. They really need to do some work on the setup to give more space for people walking around...after getting ran into by someone pushing a stroller for the 5th time, a guy nearly dumping his drink on me, and finally a lady almost burning me with her cigarette it was time to leave - don't even get me started on the lack of food vendors available and most of those there were pretty much out of everything (we got there about 3 hours after it started) - the food vendors were way under prepared for the amount of people apparently. Not thinking we'll ever go back to see if things improve, just seemed to be a drunken street flea market...not our thing!

Debating what I want to bake today. I'm thinking I might go for oatmeal cookies. Been a long while since I made those, and they're yummy :) I had been planning on making coffee cake but realized I don't have the right size pan. It's definitely a good baking day, so just a matter of deciding what recipe (or recipes) I want to play with today.

I found 4 snowflaik's before I found Puck - stick with it!
