Gah dammit. I totally blanked on the bathhouse yesterday. Fortunately I was only a couple of days into month 3 so I'm not too bummed. I would have been so upset if I were closer to the referral point!

Off to play in the wardrobe to come up with a fun Morostide themed HA.

I didn't sleep last night... and I kept passing out while listening to/typing that pilot file. And then the simulator would go into some emergency alert BEEP BEEP BEEP and wake me up. LOL I might die. But I'm finishing it tonight or dying trying. Because I'm sooooooo close.

I guess the turnip is edible so there's that. At least I thought I read that in the news. :P Is that true? I keep catching the tail end of the restocks so I've gotten the muse and the plushie. But man o man I hope I catch a full one to get that cross <3 the hat would be nice to catch, but I remember when the cross came out and I missed it </3

Working on it :) When we went to get our shutters out we found that almost all of them went missing. We know they were there as it's noted on our insurance inspection report that there were '3 different sizes, all shutters accounted for'....not sure when they disappeared. Ah well, what do you do. We ended up ordering plywood from the company our neighbor works for and it came this afternoon - they did free delivery and it was still way cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot! Everything is boarded up except the three sets of double doors which will get done in the morning. Other than that little bit left to do we're ready to ride out the storm :)

I seen the update, only one model has it swinging back and it's the one that is typically wrong so I'm not placing too much weight that it'll do that. The European model that I pay attention to hasn't been wrong about a track in over 3 years (it's the blue one on Weather Underground) and it has it heading out to the ocean but continuing North East...hopefully that's what it does though who knows, seems every update there's been major changes to the track/timing/strength, lol. We're as ready as we can be! I'm going to attempt to get video before the storm gets too crazy, I'll post it to my facebook page :)

We're all good :) Had some major winds and crazy rain, but only lost a couple of palm fronds which were due to drop soon anyway. No damage and no power loss. Keeping shutters and plywood up until after we know for sure what the storm is going to do - they're saying it could loop around and get us again, but it looks like it would be barely a tropical storm at that point..still better to be safe than sorry...

Going to do my dailies and try to relax a bit, was quite the stressful night :)

Sheesh, where is everyone??

Things have been a bit busy around here. Hubby spent the weekend cleaning up after the storm - we didn't have any damage but a lot of fronds and twigs were blown down...which of course all required hand picking up, most were just big enough that they couldn't be run over by the mower... He also painted our plywood and will be marking it when it comes off the house, which will be at some point this week...or maybe this weekend, lol. Originally we were going to leave them up until we knew for sure we weren't getting hit again but we knew that pretty quickly...now they're up to drive me crazy, lol, I'm not a fan of no light!

I had to unfortunately start over at the bathhouse, sometime last week in all the hurricane preparing I forgot to the bathhouse.oops...

Hi all :) omg life has been busy! the summer flew by. i had all 3 of my kids with me for 5 whole days! i loved every moment of my time with them. it was the first time in 4 1/2 years since we've all been together. then my daughter stayed with me for a month after the boys left. my aunt came to stay for a week near the end of august and before i knew it, school started again! i haven't even posted any summer pics on fb! 😱 in the spring, i decided i wanted to make a career change, so in the summer i talked to the head of human resources, he went over my resume, i did a 2 hour test and was approved to make the move from being a teachers aide to working as clerical staff in the offices of schools. He also recommended i take a book keeping course because my end goal is to become a head secretary in a school. he and i both thought it would take time for me to move into office work - but postings came up and i applied and i ended up being the most senior person for a job, so 2 weeks ago i began a new job - as the secretarial clerk in a high school! i'm loving it!! i'm also doing a bookkeeping course 2 nights a week. going to pottery 2 other nights a week... it's all keeping me busy as shit... lol! the downside is... i haven't had as much time to play online. i am around... trying to get on when i can. my favourite seasons are coming up on subeta so i need to devote more time on here! (i don't really need to do my homework... right... lol)

Wow you've been super busy! So glad you got to spend the summer with your kiddos and got the change of job you wanted!! <3 When we switch to doing something we enjoy it feels much less like a job :) And way to go on those courses - though the mom in me much say homework is priority - always! So even if we suffer here not seeing you, when we do it best be because your work is completed ;)

About a year ago, just shy, I looked into this fabulous new company called LuLaRoe, but didn't do much beyond looking into it as I wasn't sure how 'popular' it was going to be...yeah, mud/egg right in the face on that one. It's now super huge, everyone loves their clothes and people that I know who became consultants are super happy about it too...so I have an appointment today with a friend of mine who has been a consultant for awhile to discuss the possibilities of me signing on to do the same...it's mostly informational at this point, seeing what the cost/profits are and we'll go from there. Hubby is totally behind it which more than makes me happy! Will keep everyone posted as to whether I become a consultant or not....at the moment I'm both excited and nervous, but it sounds like fun and who doesn't like having fun while making $$...

Only on for a bit longer while I reprice a couple pages in my shops...I don't use auto price as it's bit me on multi million sp items in the past...though I'm very tempted since my shops have over 15 pages each, lol, so I don't reprice every item every day, just a few pages here and there...still have a ton of items to get moved over from my old hoarding gallery but went from hundreds of pages to less than 200...so I'm thrilled about that! Eventually I'll get it all done...

and - thanks - I'm excited about the changes and future possibilities.
