that's fine, the appartment I use to rent hast two bedrooms. So there's plenty of space. It's an island in the north sea though - so not tropical

- hey Chookie :) Still enjoying the chickens..they are so cute and funny to watch. Paulette is broody though...for the last two weeks no egg from her and she won't get off the nest. I let the other two out in the mornings and they get treats and Paulette stays on the nest. three or four mornings a week I have extra time and will gently push her off the nest and out the door then close off the nest area so she can't get back in for a short time...she'll eat and drink and stretch...I clean the coop and back in she goes when the little door opens. haha there is more info than you wanted but once I start talking about those little ladies I can't shut up! I read that they will stop brooding on their own after a few weeks...hope so since it is sad to watch...she wants an egg to hatch and it isn't going to happen.

- A cruise ship!! Book me a room with a view! haha :) It is a great background, makes me want a vacation. Love seeing the anon posts!

: I'm fine with non-tropical. Islands just always feel much more like I'm actually getting away from everything. I could really use to get away from everything.

we went there for vacation even when I was a small child, so it feels a lot like home. The appartment belongs to my parents and is used as holiday appartment (until I retire) and if I ever get to retire I will spend the rest of my life there. It's just so wonderfull, waking up in plain sight of the ocean...

there are some times when Norderney is really corwded, which is the reason I am not going there during school holidays.

But I really liek to have 14 calm days with massage and stuff. To get enough power for the rest of the year

Your holiday sounds lovely, though. After everything you've said about your job, I can definitely understand how much you must need a couple weeks of calm and pampering to recharge your battery.

My mom had a stent placed in her heart today. She was Fasting and sleeping most of the time I was there, came out of the procedure with flying colours. Still touch and go; my sister who is staying with her full time and my mom want to go home for the weekend. I hope the doctors release her. Thanks for all you support. It means a LOT.
