: Those things catch FIRE? Holy moly, another thing to be completely afraid of. Can they explode? What would that be like to have your fingernails explode. What if your fingernail burst into flames and exploded while you were scratching? Or picking your nose??? What if you were at the doctor and they were doing an examination and their fingernail exploded while they had their hand....up...AAACH! Is this why health care costs so much because doctors with long fingernails are at such risk of having their fingernails explode while their hands are inside...stuff?

I'm glad I am a small creature...human life is just too complicated for me to comprehend.

Are you OK? Does it cost a lot of money to have your exploding fingernails repaired?

My good friend Glitter is a licensed manicurist and she cannot work with acrylic because of the fumes, they give her migraine. I will ask her more about fingernails catching fire.

being surrounded by doggies is the best! I'm hanging out with my pup too! His name is bear and he's just sitting on my feet while I'm on my laptop.

I never thought that they did, that's why I like almost cried! Thankfully I didn't get hurt, but it was kind of scary! I love having long acrylic nails, because they make me feel so classy for some reason! But it's impossible for me to do my hair and makeup, so I think I might get them taken off tomorrow! And if I miss them, I could always get them put back on (:

Crockett is a dachshund mix, Charisma is basically a cairn terrier and Cordelia is a terrier mix/tuxedo dog. There's a pic a page or two back.

Thanks... I hope to help my last surviving aunt get some comfort Thursday.. I know she will be lonely without her sisters and brother. No one now to call her "Baby" even at 80+ as they used to.
