Frieda spent the last two days of Masquerade in business meetings with the owners and managers of three of the big banks in Zaira and with some of the business leaders on the Moon. She finalized the plans for their contributions to her clinic and made arrangements for their checks to be deposited in the Clinic's Non-Profit Corporate account at the First Bank of Atebus. Since most of these business people were also on her board of supervisors, the meeting was friendly and was over by the evening.

She had also finished packing her suitcases so that she and her mate Weldon could leave the moon after the last dance that evening. Passion Flower, her fighter craft was loaded and had been taxied to the Ballroom landing port for take off after the Ballroom closed down for the season. Happy Wanderer was too big to park in the Ballroom's landing pad, her friends would have to take a cab to the city's spaceport to board their craft.

Frieda loved Masquerade, danced her final dances with her friends, ate paws full of yummy treats and drank several of her favorite drinks, including a WhooWhoo. She kept the alcohol to one drink, she was going to fly home this evening and wanted to be in her right mind to do so.

Finally, it was the last dance, a slow emotional waltz and Weldon stepped onto the ballroom floor, took Frieda in his strong arms and held her close for the entire dance. He was dressed in his Subetan Air Command uniform and looked ruggedly handsome and cut a dashing figure on the dance floor. Frieda was dressed in her low-cut classic ballroom gown. The young couple danced magnificently and as the final chords of the waltz played, Weldon dipped Frieda and kissed her passionately.

They didn't linger after the dance was over, Frieda and Weldon quickly exited the Ballroom and headed straight for their craft. They quickly changed into their flight suits inside the ship, buckled in and prepared to take off.

Once clear of the dome, Frieda executed her signature aeronautic move, the starburst, she dumped a small quantity of fuel and hit the afterburners igniting it, causing it to explode like a firework shell.

They would be home in Omen in eight hours and with the craft on autopilot, they had some time to crawl into their sleeping berths to catch some shut-eye on the way home. As Frieda stripped down to her underpants and camisol, she caught sight of Weldon in his underpants and tee, sided up to him and asked him in a husky whisper, "Hey Mister, wanna dance?"

Don't know if it was a bear or not but, if so, thank you whoever sent me the zombie beanbags! (Zombeanbags?) It's looking like it's going to be a pretty miserable day at work so that brightened my day a bit.

I'm also sad masquerade is over but I got everything I really wanted and then some so no complaints.

I have a poorly boy again, took him to the Drs today, he has a viral infection it would seem, been suffering from temps on the weeknd with saturday night/sunday morning being the worse, and I wanted to make sure the medication wasent covering anything, but his ears, thoat and chest were all clear
