- I know what you mean...when our neighbors were there the house was pretty close and sometimes it seemed it would rattle a window. Very annoying and inconsiderate. I am so grateful for good neighbors now. The only loud neighbor now is a rooster on the next street haha but I think that is not a bad sound!

You wouldn't happen to live somewhere there's a noise ordinance in effect, would you? I had to report a neighbor once because he spent his days off playing video games at top volume against our adjoining wall.

She has the comical playful corgi personality and the sweetness of the golden...such a great dog. not late enough to report them. The "problem" is I have night shift and just fell out of the bed. They can play their music - but they can just mae sure I do not fall out of my bed. I have another night shift later on and I need my sleep shrugs

I guess if I want tp prevent that I need to build a house inside a park... Maybe someday there is that nice mediaval mill in a park that's for sale and I have been looking at that for weeks now... Buut then there is the problem that the kids need to get to schol, so if wen move out into the woods that will mean more driving...

I love corgi mixes, especially when they're half big dog. They're so determined that they're a big dog, too.

Well, that sucks. You need to make yourself a little sound proof cave. I'm out in the countryside now, where I grew up, and it's great but, yeah, there's a lot more driving to do.

we are country - it's just a neighborhood where there are houses standing more or less beside each other. But we still get milk fresh from the cow every evening at 6 p.m. So we are country - just a small viallge no big city.

And it's nice for the kids. The school (primary) is just a 4 minute walk away - the kinderarten like 10 minutes. There are trees, a river and some small hills.

Junior High and High (or as they are called here) Gymansium and Realschule are in the next bigger towns. But that's just 5 minutes by train.

Thank you for dapper little kitty! I wish I could put my little ginger in a costume like that. It'd be adorable and she'd hate me forever. Or at least until it was time for food.

My pup is like that, too. He sounds like he's three times his actual size but he's really just a cuddly little grump.

That sounds lovely, actually. We're a little farther out, though the nearest schools are all still just five to ten minutes down the road. It's not quite as rural as it was when I was growing up but it's still mostly farm land and my noisiest neighbors most of the year are cows and a kid with a four wheeler.

Yes the cat would not like it...or the dog but that didn't stop my daughter from putting a little costume on the dog for Halloween...she kept it on for just a few minutes but that was the end of it...and we have a raincoat for the pooch which is helpful...she still wants her walk when it is raining and that wet dog smell can be minimized! :)

putting some goodies in the slow cooker today so off I go to start chopping veggies :)

The worst part of low dogs in the rain is their very, very wet belly! I have to towel my little boy off every time we come in from a rainy walk and he hates it but I'd rather not have to mop the kitchen floor every other day to get rid of those muddy paw prints.

Enjoy that slow cooker smell! If you're anything like me, you'll be very ready to eat it by the time it's done. I'm also off for a while. I need a shower before I join my family for a play.

Crockett is a dachshund mix, Charisma is basically a Cairn terrier and Cordelia looks mostly terrier.
