Completely agree ...no intrusion on private lives and no ping-fest. Just want to avoid the numerous board posts on the Lair Bear Corner Booth with "Where the heck is ______ ?" or "Does anybody know what happened to ________ ?" We've had quite a few lately and everyone gets worked up and worried until the reason is tracked down.

Figured that a separate thread with one simple post either from the person saying that they will be out of touch, or a friend letting everyone know not to worry about the person's absence. No need for particulars, or discussion, or multiple omg's...just a simple heads up and if events are ongoing to let the Lair know that any extra treats would be gladly accepted until the person's return.

As you said, a "Lair Bear Status Update".

Bottom Line /Cardinal Rule: No responses needed ~ No questions necessary / The only people who should post are the individuals themselves, or a trusted friend (with their permission to do so). Personally I like the little bear emoji cause I wouldn't want to color the post with any sad faces, etc. to make people wonder if they should be sending condolences, or what have you.

Right, way to many pages to view to see what is the status of a certain bear. This thread will eliminate that. This way it comes directly from player, and their preference to reveal anything about absence or pending absence. I think the bear emoji is good, and can be part of the first comment in the thread and its use /meaning. I dont want the thread to be an emotional upheaval just status update and move on.

Good Morning! I had the CW and decided I needed to use it after being gruesome zombie. I needed something cheerful. Wondering have you and ever read the Redwall series by Brian Jacques full of weasel, otters and other animals. I loved the series and plan on re-read it. : Oh yes, I've read many of the Redwall series and of course I have all of them. I have eight first edition (British) books including a first edition Mossflower. I started reading them after I finished writing my first books and I was fascinated how there were similar themes that ran through both Mr. Jacques' stories and mine.

Also a good read about weasels is The Wainscott Weasel. When heard it being read outloud, she thought that it had been written by me. Of course, there is The Wind In The Willows and The Winds of Winter about Mole, Rat, Toad and Badger. Those will always be my favorite. I love how Kenneth Grahame writes with such emotion and sensibility.

There's intrigue, a gold heist, a recording contract, a civil war, a prophesy, Baby Frieda, Young Wipper-snapper Weldon, flying contraptions, murder ( gasp , Weldon naked showing off his buns !!
