Aint that ecard the truth!!! D: How I look back on the college days of sleeping through the alarm clock with rose colored glasses. lol And I thought that was stress psh :P It's funny, I always thought I was empathetic and I totally got parents and understood the gravity of what they were going through... nope. No matter how much I thought I understood, I definitely did not. There is no such thing as prepared. heh But it's definitely worth it (Right now he is playing in the bubble bath belting out LET IT GOOOOO!)well he was when I wrote this 4 hours ago, now he's thinking of every excuse not to fall asleep lol He's 5, will be 6 next month. You would think bedtime would be a breeze by now, but we've never figured it out. I'm weak and he's a cyborg. lol I put together a routine, it works for a couple days and bedtime takes an hour tops, by the 3rd or 4th day he resists and is up in bed for 5 hours! The stress of it, I do not handle it well, and we stay out of whack for days while I try to get my bearings and come up with a new plan. My mom thinks I should just cuddle up and still let him sleep with me. Which sounds all lovely and wonderful but I feel like it's important that he gain that independence. Plus every time I break down and lay with him, I fall asleep and next thing I know I wake up to him out of bed causing some sort of mischief LOL sigh so yeah, my mommy skills are still in serious training. :/

I'm glad it went well! Poor kitty babies <3 We know how that goes! I moved by airplane with my two year old son and my cat LOL She was not amused...

It will be a while before I become a dad, but I am still excited nonetheless.

ooo that must have been REALLY fun. Not. A friend of ours i starting a four day drive with both of her cats how have never done this before. She flew them on an airplane the first time. So it could be really fun.

- My little one will be 3 next month. She goes through the bedtime routine pretty well, but then she'll lay in bed for an hour or two playing or singing to her stuffed friends. I figure it's her own damn fault if she's tired when it's time to wake up in the morning :P I need my sleep too!

Our big battle at the moment is tantrums, cooperation, and following directions the first time. Ugh... why do children have to be so illogical? I don't deal well with unpredictability!

- Do you and Claire plan on finding out the gender of your baby or do you want to be surprised?

- How's the move been so far? Kitties adjusting to a new home is difficult. Ours has had to do it twice!
