- Sounds like we're in similar boats. I think I've been holding Juliet back as well, especially since she's been great at school for months. Only an occasional accident, maybe once a week. I just have to stick to a schedule at home. I have my phone ring every hour to remind her (and me).
Kristian does awesome staying dry all day. But I still have him in a pull up. The 2 times I have put him in underwear he purposefully peed on the floor in my living room, so I dont know when I will be brave enough to try that again. And also I don't want to have to clean the mess from him going number 2 in underwear. I think we will be in pull-ups until he is completely trained.

- Juliet doesn't understand that a pull-up is supposed to be treated like underwear and she's supposed to keep it try. She treats it more like a diaper, and I'm tired of buying them, so we're going with underwear for the next 4 days since she's home with me. I really need to just stick to a schedule. So far, it's been a great morning!
potty training is hard. And it can be frustrating. Every kid is different, and I am very lucky that Kristian has been so helpful in this process. I remind him if he hasn't gone in a while, but he has been very good about telling me when he needs to go. He even stays dry overnight. This process wasn't easy though. I have been trying for months and he was not having any of it. I had to wait until he was actually ready because he was so stubborn. But once he was ready it was wonderful. He was all in, and he made it so easy. Your daughter will get there. Just be patient. Patience is my biggest problem. But I am working on that.

- Patience... Something I have been working on for years, and continue to work on still. I know that we'll get there eventually, but it's been a year that we've been working on it... It seems like the end will never be in sight!
I thought the same thing. I have been trying to work with him since he turned 2. I would get frustrated and give up and quit for months at a time. His teacher at school also tried, but he wasn't having any of it. He just turned 3 in May. He is just now being interested in the whole bathroom thing, and it wasn't until he wanted to do it that it started working. I think all my pushing just made the whole process even worse. I had to wait until he was ready. But he did let me know when he was ready, and ever since the first time he told me he has to go, he has been doing it mostly on his own. I had quit trying, and one afternoon, just out of the blue, he told me he needed to go potty. I was tired after being at work all day, and I thought he was just playing around. But I took him and he actually went. Ever since that afternoon, he has been doing awesome. She will get there. He was the last kid in his class to be potty trained. He had to sit and wait while all the other kids went to the bathroom, and it killed him not to be able to wash his hands, or get a treat. But now he got it. I firmly believe now that we have to not push so much and we just have to wait until the child is ready. They will let you know. I know all too well the hassle of some things that comes with having kids. But I think as parents, real life forces us to make them grow up too fast in a lot of aspects, then we want to act all shocked and surprised when they want to do things as they get older that we think they aren't ready for. Life is very ironic. So as frustrating as it is for them to act or be a certain way at certain ages, I don't think that we should force them to grow up faster than they are ready for. Of course, Kristian is the last of 4 kids, so I am trying to hold on to these baby years. But they are flying by so fast. It makes me sad.

: Yeah, that guy in the Pawn Shop only gives you 300csc for it...
: Um... Quite a long while is how long to you? Yeah, since the pawn shop guy is stingy and only gives you 300 csc for it. >_<
: Hehe, OK, thanks. I've done that a couple of times too. By the way, nice dress your HA is wearing. Is it a private CW?
and Shannon stayed dry all day again with no accidents, as soon as we put her bed time nappy on she did a poo. I dont mind cleaning it in her pants as I had to do it with Joshy as he was worse at it. I just wanted her to be sorted for nursery in september, I have been trying since last yr on and off with her, but she would have good and bad days, seems it has all fallen in place now,
I am glad that she is doing so well. I think all three of our kids will have it down very soon.

I think they will too :), hows things going with his day care, is he still getting bitten there
There has not been another incident since Monday. But I am fed up. I am planning on switching to another daycare at the end of the month.

Sorry I saw your post belatedly about So Fetch! We tried to renew our hosting, but they said that they had deleted our info and we didn't keep a good back up x)

Shaving cream is good cleanser for ooops, it cleans and deodorizes. i have cleaned juice spills, vomit, and other things. Just sponge or pick up most of the problem. Then use white shaving cream, rub it in the area, and then use warm water and sponge. Things that stain, it may not prevent the stain. But it helps with clean up and smell.
That's a bummer! If there is anything I could do (beside pay staff, I WISH I could do that for y'all!) that would help get it up and running, I will pitch in. Just let me know!
- Thanks for the tip! We have some pet odor and stain remover that I had been using, but that will be awesome in a pinch!
Every bit helps. Internet has a lot of good solutions for cleaning problems. Like regular hair shampoo helps remove blood stains. Let it set a bit then rinse, if clothes toss it in the washer.
For me it really just depends on whether I think I'll ever use it and how many times I've seen it up for sale with no takers and such. Its really just dependent on a lot of factors for me - everyone is going to be different.
.. and they're headed home. It's hard not to cry and fall into that sadness but I know that in order to relish in the joy of saying "Welcome Home sweetheart!" you have to also say "I'm really gonna miss you guys, I love you"
I miss them terribly, it was such a short week but once the emptiness leaves me, I have a heart-full of memories to fall back on.
Hope all's well y'all, forgive me for not wanting to talk, like I said, its hard not to fall into that pit.
Our Lair is proof you don't have to stand face to face to know you've got friends who stand with you when you need us.

OH NO! D: I'm so sorry and so sad for all of us who loved that site! Thank you for letting us know is in the ping group in case it comes back
Thank you ^^ I love the one you're wearing as well. I went back and forth about buying a copy forEVER before they were gone! You know, I'm not certain, but I think it was a private CW. :/ I got a smail about them (there were 3 colors I think) from offering them to her friends. I didn't take her up on it at the time as I had never bought a CW and rarely ever have any csc, let alone enough that I wanted to spend $7 on one item. But then this popped up in the pawn shop, and remembering the smail about it being for friends only I snagged it up figuring she wouldn't want it bought up by just anyone. This wasn't even the color I would have gotten had I bought one originally, so I hinted at selling it back to her but I'm not very direct and she said she's glad I caught it and to enjoy it. Which I figure means there wasn't anyone waiting in line to buy a copy. Then I put this lil outfit together and it's growing on me. ^^
Good luck to you guys in the midst of potty training! It is... unique! lol <3 Gotta love the lil mess makers. ^_^
