Trust me, you will be glad of the way this puzzle bent your minds when you have to make your case solution, which IS a major RP portion of this. (If, for nothing else, you learned to consider and then eliminate or confirm different scenarios. Deduction on steroids. ;D)

: Not to sound like an idiot or anything, but would it be possible for you to outline exactly it that we are to give to you by Wednesday so that we may proceed. I have been over both boards and I have not been able to find the requirements for the next step anywhere, not that they aren't there, I just cannot locate them. I was under the impression that we were to tell you the three people we wanted to question further by tonight. Were we to have also written out questions to ask them?

You're most definitely not an idiot, and if you are wondering, others will be too. So, I'm pinging the whole group. If you already have this down and are waiting for your answers, just ignore this.

1. Select suspects you would like to question. The list also includes a general "maid" for household info, as well as Bacina and Woodrow, who is Utah's friend. You may also investigate the crime scene again in case you missed something, and tour the grounds around the mansion.
2. All in all, there are 10 possible sources of information. To visit all of them, you would spend 1000 points. Or you may choose not to use any of your points and construct your summation on what you have plus the upcoming deputy's report.
3. Compose and choose the questions you would like to ask. You may ask up to three of each person. The information you receive will be different from others unless you ask the same questions. Those responses will be standardized for fairness. No questions are required for the two locations, and everyone will receive the same information for those two. 3.You do not have to waste questions on physical descriptions or habits. These will be given in the descriptions as you see the character. You will also be able to inspect the room where each is staying. For example: if a character smokes, he or she will be doing so as you interview them, or smoking accessories will be clearly visible. If a character uses any drug, it will be visible somewhere.

4. HINT: The relationship of the characters to each other is a huge key in solving this one, and, the more you detail relationships in your solution, the higher your score. Who didn't do it and why is almost as important as who did.

Now, while we're not on the subject of Wayward Squirrel 3, I'd love some responses from those of you who are brave (or foolish) enough to plan on signing on for that one. Here are the three most offered suggestions I got for the next setting. If you like one, please comment and let me know (or offer another alternative:

1. The "borderlands": (lots of elves, trolls, goblins, dwarves, etc. for a huge adventure/mystery.
2. A slick 1920's speakeasy setting with gangsters, molls, bootleggers, etc.
3. Intergalactic space traveler fantasy.

Help me out so I can start planning. Yes, Nutsy's detectives DO get first vote, and you can pass it along to any veteran Squirrels who didn't play the mystery.

(Oh, yeah, whatever, it WILL include Tanaka. He's the eternal time traveling hero; he'll be around for sure--I do NOT have a death wish. :D)

does option three have a Firefly like setting?

Hmmm... Barbarella? I adore space sci fi! Or I'd make a great moll and/or torch singer. The borderlands is interesting but we've kind of done the trolls/fairies and elves thing as well. A combo wouldn't be too bad. A space flight to Subeta's moon complete with a space battle rp, end up surrounded by gangsters and having to pose as a ''family'' (gangsters) to solve the problem. Could be an awesome rp and the possibilities are mind boggling. I think Tanaka would make an awesome Clyde Barrows or BabyFace!

Just a few thoughts.... now back to the case at hand.

Tanaka would make a pretty good just about anything! So we give him that nightmare steed that can shift into a hot motorcycle, and we're good to go! So glad to see you, babe!

Who could say no to a typical Fantasy setting? Definitely voting for Borderlands here. ^^
