Hm, I'm not sure where I went wrong with the grid. I didn't get Squeaker using the lead pipe for certain. Ah well. Maybe I'll go through it again sometime soon, but not right now. Thank you for the explanation!

Agreed. By the time we are done with the judges they will be so confused they wont know what hit them. LOL And we totally can't be leaders...that would make others think we know what we are doing. Pfts.

Me too. I have no clue what we are suppose to be doing now. I know we are suppose to be deciding if we are interviewing people but I am not sure how that works. Maybe I should ask???

Okay the current step we are working on is choosing if we want to interview/go back to crime scene/etc. If interview we submit 3 questions we want answer by whoever we interview. To do any of these things it costs 100 points? So in Silver Legends case...we had 500, spent 250 to get the clues around the room, we got 20 from the mini puzzle, so we have 270 points...so we can choose to interview 2 people if we want to or a person and review the scene? Yes?

For a least one whole team, but for others as well, I'm sorry that puzzle didn't suit you, (and I thank you for letting me know here or elsewhere in no uncertain terms.) Admittedly, it was very difficult because of the variables. While it doesn't seem so, I think you might be glad of that reasoning when it comes to deciding your final solution.

But, I believe this discomfort is more than just a puzzle. I think the main issue here for a number of you is that this is so not the Wayward Squirrel. (You can have the best looking and most charming date for the ball, but if it's not the one you love...:D )

By its nature, WS is geared to RP and character development with lots of room for interaction and just plain play. There is a lot of "dress ups," puzzles are varied, have single solutions, and speak more into everyone's strengths. This is largely possible because it's longer, and based around a full plot.

Nutsy's is a single incident event, just one mystery, and your main goal is to explain the how, what, and why of the whole sequence of events. It's meant to be single and short, and while mystery lovers are thriving, RP and HA lovers are feeling frustrated.

Basically, a lot of you love WS, and it's hard to fall in love with a different format, especially at first go.

On the other hand, it's more than half over, and at this point, all of you have at least 1000 points to spend questioning suspects, and I will extend the deadline a day or two as needed, since this part is so important.

Here are your points to spend right now:

League of Whovians, Webby's Watson's, & Mischievous Misfits, you have 1100

Four Seasons, Nightowls, Meddlesome Madams, & Cosmic Sleuths, you have 1080

Raider's Folly, you have 1060

Team Sparrow & The Fellowship you have 1040

Silver Legends, you are leading the retreat (see you ARE leaders!) with 1020, and a great deal of panache!!

As you can see, everyone is still VERY much in the game, and can question everyone and look anywhere the team wants.

You have an HA contest and the solution still to come, and scores are helpful at this point, but there's no way they "seal the deal." RP for the solution counts for a lot. You all can do this and do this well!

Wow My Math was off on our score keeping. LOL I had us down at like 270. That is a huge difference in score.

I hope you didn't think the puzzle wasn't up to our teams liking. We just ran into a wall with our brains. Personally I can never figure those types of puzzles out. I see them and go >>>>

Thanks. It is perfect for my feelings on those grid puzzles. LOL Fresh and Terrena are good at them usually but their brains hit walls this time around.

I like logic puzzles, and was able to solve this one...sorta. What threw me off was taking the information from the puzzle clues and making it into a case. I didn't factor that into my solution, so neither of the answers we came up with were correct. :( Despite that, I still enjoyed the activity.

It's good for me to know in advance that WS is much more RP than this. I'm so glad to have NNN to get my feet wet. Thanks so much for all of your hard work and consideration!

The WS event is much more RP driven, both are lot of fun and this mini-event is the perfect way to get into the groove. :)
