That's a smart strategy! I've been buying boutique items here and there. There's only usually one or two per set I want so shrug
I don't think the old hair coupons are coming back, because they have those fringe books that give them out randomly. I bought a few of those in the BF sale, and got 1 of the ones I wanted. The rest sell for a decent amount, so it's not a terrible deal for unlisted wigs. I hate the randomness though :/

Yeah it's a lot of training mostly. And because the location is so small there aren't enough resources for all 3 of us to be working at the same time.

I, myself, am at work. I'm not 100% well, so I'm dying to go home x.x; How is everyone else?
I'm also still quite worried about our MIA Dot. As far as I can tell it's closing on a month and a half with no one having heard from her. -sigh- I've tried contacting her every way I know how out of concern, but I've had no luck and now I think I'm starting to worry more than I should about it all. I really hope she is okay..
On a brighter note, I'm roughly down 10lbs! Which is quite a goal for me! When I start feeling better I have to start going to the gym more. But for now, I'm quite proud. :3
Random November day is good so far :) It's treat thursday at work, so that's always nice. I'm debating whether I want to participate in any black friday sales (yup, we have those, even without thanksgiving) but they tend to be eh on everything except electronics.
Are you having a big thanksgiving meal with family?
That seems early, no? I though curling usually went until march or april? At least my Dad's did. (This feels like a very Canadian conversation haha.)

Well, I had thought so too but the last I recall hearing from her is that she wasn't doing well health wise, hence my elevated concern. But then again, my memory is truly poor. x.x;
I wish I were. Unfortunately, I work today, and Im off tomorrow but I work the morning after. My Family lives almost 3 hrs away and I don't drive, so between traveling on a Black Friday and trying to be back in time, I don't think it's possible to make it there. Apparently, they aren't even doing the big meal we normally do. Feels like every year our Family celebrations get smaller and smaller and yet all I want to do is go home to them more and more. Aye aye aye..
I am hoping to brave the Black Friday crowds tomorrow for Groceries and -hopefully- Pokemon Moon. Maybe that will cheer me up.

Haha well my league is still going.. but my competitive women's season is over! We had our last tournament this past weekend. I'm super behind on a lot of the achievs :( I doubt I'll get top tier this year! How about you?

Ugh I hate black friday lol. Literally I feel like you don't even get that good of deals. Stuff is always on sale throughout the year. Also the crowds make it not worth it at all. And yes! We did a great big lunch today. We traveled about two hours to my grandma's house and got back not too long ago. I have officially decided to hibernate in bed the rest of the night. I'm. so. full. But also thankful ;) lol

I didn't realize the competitive season was so early! I thought they tended to happen more near the end of winter.
I was done with most achivevments from last years so I only have the 2 new ones to work on. I probably won't get the fantine pie one, though, since I deleted all my pumpkins for pumpkin deleter!

I went to the mall on my lunch break today, and it was INSANE. And this is in Canada where the deals suck. People just go overboard for too little return. I'm with you, I'd much rather stay home - and online shop on cyber monday :P I like being able to comparison shop, since I feel like too many 'retail' prices are inflated, just so they can pretend every price has been 'slashed.' It's just a guise to get you to impulse shop.

It's funny how that works! The less you see family and have those big gatherings, the more you crave them. How did you black friday deal hunting go? I just made a few purchases online. Not feeling up to braving the crowded malls for the sake of shopping, myself haha.

For sure :) Okay :) One of them is quite a bit older than me and talks about himself all the time (seriously in 3 conversations we had, I asked him how he was doing and we talked for 20 mins about him without him ever asking how I was doing XD) One of them is between here and London, so isn't around much. And the lat one is nice to chat to aha.

Oh well fun work days are always better than stressful ones. I have had Thursday-Saturday off and we are closed sundays so yes a long weekend ;) Mostly been hanging out with family for the holiday! Some old friends were in town that I got to catch up with as well. Oh thank you :o It's for the stimulate your style challenge and I felt like I still needed to add more xD But I decided to just go ahead and submit it.

That's a good point! I generally get sick of my HA rather quickly so I tend to change HAs a lot aha. Ohhhh, I've never used one of those I don't think. I should really try to be more varied! What was the item for the challenge?

I'm with you on that... a lot of the boutique wigs are just weird and random. Too messy or colourful. There's a few gems though!
Going to see Arrival in a bit. I haven't seen a movie in theatres is ages thanks to streaming haha. I gave tickets to a movie of your choice to my dad for father's day, and he's finally cashing in!

Junk mail is so irritating. I'm so glad for gmail's folder system haha. I filter everything from stores into a retail folder, so I can mass delete everything in it. I try to unsubscribe if I never buy from the store, though.

I went to a german inspired christmas village this weekend actually. It was fun! They had mulled wine and cider. SO yummy c: I found it while browsing the overchest section I think! I love cheap wearables that are fun hehe. And it's the crown I'm wearing. There were two others to choose from. I can't remember the item name though.
