Personality: He is a hard worker that delights in his job, and he expects the same from others that work with him. He loves the anticipation of what he will find at each new site, and is excited when it ends up being something spectacular, which it often is at his level. If its just ordinary, the job is still fun and they have work to do, and still might discover something interesting or new. He is normally good natured, and has mellowed through time. But he got his nickname from when he was younger and was much more volatile. It still shows up sometimes. He will speak his mind and if he is angry at someone he will tell them and why, in no uncertain terms. But by now, he has also learned not to let his anger at one person or thing be carried over to everyone else.

Likes/Dislikes: He likes to get up before dawn wherever in the world he is and watch the sunrise. His favorite mineral is sugilite/richterite. He has no use at all for people that go on digs and then don't want to work and complain constantly or cause problems. They are shipped home with no credits if they are University students and black marks in their files if it's their job. He simply will not put up with it. He will help and he will teach, but he will not coddle. He tells them exactly what he expects as soon as they arrive, and if they do not settle in they are sent packing.

Anything else?: He is a Geologist and Mineralogist. He loves rocks and crystals, their beauty and their history, and he has written several well received books. His main job is to travel Subeta with other scientists for the Subetan Geological Survey as the leader in charge. But he also works for the Natural Museum, collecting the best display minerals, esp geodes. His second in command is also his girlfriend, and they have been working together for years. It is comfortable and they are a good team. At the next site he plans on proposing. He has had an engagement bracelet made for her with amethyst, her favorite, for a long time. The main stone is a piece of amethyst geode that he considered one of the finest he had ever seen. He immediately knew it was for her, though the gigantic geode it came from had long since been put on display at the museum. He gathered the other pieces slowly, looking for the particular shades of purple that would show the geode in the best light. The bracelet would fit above her left paw very well and the design was strong and tough, yet still beautiful. This complemented their lifestyle and their relationship perfectly. He hoped she loved it as much as he did.

Setting: A spewing volcano merging with a thunderstorm, creating incredible lightning near the sea.

Personality: Strong, decisive, opinionated, but not shallow.

Physical traits: A young Adult Custom Storm Archan. He has a light grey body with dark purple swirls and stripes, silver paws, and a deep purple ruff and pouf on his tail. Lightning forms around and from him, striking ceaselessly.

Likes/Dislikes: Not surprisingly, he loves storms, any storms - the bigger the better - and esp lightning, and anything to do with them. He loves the crackling energy and the force of the winds; the deep rolling thunder, crashing of waves, and rain beating down everything in sight. He absolutely hates doldrums and flat seas and waiting in boredom.

Setting: Veta Lake Yip Colony. Her den links up to others' as well as outside, and has several comfortable rooms and one big one for crafts and playing in bad weather. Plenty of room outside for socializing with others in the colony, play, and hunting insects etc. too.

Personality: High energy, like all Jollins, but likes the calm times too.

Likes/Dislikes: She loves to knit and crochet, and does some origami. She likes to color and do arts and crafts with the kids, esp on rainy or snowy days, and often Rio joins in.

Setting: Beautiful, magical, and luxuriously appointed series of tiered caves near the sea. Her home is heavily guarded, warded, and protected by magical and physical means. The bottom level regularly floods with the tide, the middle level only sometimes with a storm, and the upper and largest level is always dry. She sells her jewelry at a close by high end market and also takes commissions. She also has a website and sells over the internet.

Personality: She is very smart, not seriously vain, but definitely not at all humble either. She knows the high quality and value of her craftsmanship and will not be cheated. If she and her minion are treated fairly and well, and her work given the acclaim it deserves, she is expansive and in a good humor. Otherwise, she has been known to put curses on items from afar (esp if they are stolen) and on Subetans themselves or that which they hold dear.

Likes/Dislikes: She is a Gemologist and Jeweler. She loves crafting beautiful and fanciful jewelry of all kinds and does so for many species. She likes luxurious comfort and treats Darkmoon and herself often with small delicacies. She hates it when people try and belittle her things when haggling and will not sell to them. In fact she does not haggle at all unless it is a trade, and then she makes sure she gets the better deal or it is fair to both.

Personality: Curious, intense, almost driven, but also charismatic and interesting. He loves to teach and makes learning fun.

Likes/Dislikes: Loves anything to do with Atebus and the solar system around it, loves teaching about Atebus at the University in Ziara City, and really likes the fruit from Ikumoradeekanox. He dislikes having to go to Subeta, but makes regular trips to teach one semester a year about Atebus at The University of Centropolis for the salary and to increase knowledge about the moon. His class always has a waiting list to get in and they keep trying to no avail to get him to teach more classes there. But he developed a popular student exchange program between the two Universities and a scholarship fund to enable more students to learn first hand on the moon.

Anything else?: Cloudflare has Phd's in Atebus History, Atebus Language, and Atebus Geology, and a Masters in Atebus Geography. He has written many books, some of which are used regularly as school textbooks. Most of his students are older, but every summer he volunteers for a month at a special camp on Atebus for younger kids and teaches while leading field trips.

Setting: Sacred lands

Personality: He is open minded, but also skeptical. He does not fall for scams, but when he does find something worthwhile he will examine it closely, esp if it involves healing, and will use it. He is very smart but cunning as well. He is normally kind and gentle, but when threatened will use his innate illusion abilities to hide himself and his minion and others. If that doesn't work he will attack with horns and hooves and is ferocious.

Likes/Dislikes: Loves medicine. (Of course he HAD to be a doctor...lol) Loves to help others heal and works with Selina. He is an M.D. and also an Herbalist. He uses modern medicine practices as well as old proven remedies. Moreau loves the morning fog and also loves to dance and is very good at it. He hates pirates and those who enslave others and any who prey upon the weak and sick.

Setting: A beautiful secluded treehouse at Veta Lake where she and her husband are descendants from other pets relocated there long ago, and adapted well. She spends most of her time in a lovely office/library with a glass case holding two vintage typewriters and a collection of quills. The novels she has written are in a bookcase by themselves, surrounded by others with many more books, both fiction and non-fiction. One wall has framed copies of some of her best columns, and the three awards she has won for them, as well as her journalism diploma. On her desk beside her black laptop is another award she won for 'Best New Science Fiction Writer'. Her husband's office is next door and is similar to hers, tho with a different genre of books, mostly history and non-fiction.

Personality: In spite of being reclusive, she is light, bright, and mostly cheerful, with a wicked sense of humor that she shares with her husband.

Likes/Dislikes: She loves to write and enjoys the development of a character and a story. She likes wine but drinks it sparingly, and never touches the hard stuff. She will sometimes speak at a sci-fi con for a healthy fee, but mostly for her fans, and gets many more invitations than she accepts. Rarely she will do a public book signing event, but will gladly sign her books for fans that send them to her through her publisher. She doesn't like being around too many others, and only puts up with being the center of attention for a short time. She never does book tours or talk shows.

Other characters to include: Her minion Mirren the Mirath, which helps in her research with knowledge from her crystal ball. She also authenticates and fills out the information with other sources, but it does give her invaluable details and directions to go. Also include her husband, Talmere, a Lilac noktoa as well, and his minion Saia the Serene. Talmere is a popular writer of mostly historical fiction novels full of action, but like Star is reclusive. They delight in each other's imagination and writing, help with the occasional phrasing or idea for each other and are very supportive.

Anything else?: She writes a column (sent by email) regularly for the Subeta Tribune as well as eagerly anticipated mystery/thriller novels in science fiction settings. She started using her pen name Steven Skyfall because in the beginning no publisher took her seriously simply because she was female. She resented having to use it at first, but that name opened doors and as she built a reputation for excellence, she also laughed all the way to the bank. Now it doesn't matter, because her fans couldn't care less that she is female and what her name really is, and they enjoy being 'in the know' around others who don't. The couple have six grown children and two grandchildren who live not far away that they see fairly often.
