Yeah, I hear ya

OMG I FORGOT ABOUT ALL ABOUT THOSE!! My mom has some and I remember constantly going through her drawers to look at them. xD The only one I really remember is her Tinkerbell one, but I know she had a bunch of them. If I lived close to Disneyland/Disneyworld, I could totally see myself collecting them. Sadly, I'm in NC and I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid. :( I'm sure you can buy them online somewhere. Maybe I'll start collecting so my future kids can obsess over them like I did :P

I used to collect disney pins, then I lost my favorite one.. It was a purple star with tinkerbell on it, she was blowing a kiss I believe, or posing for something. It had little yellow stars, I used to put them on my backpack and someone either stole her or It fell off..

I think it's a great idea to start collecting for your kids to enjoy :) I think my girls would enjoy them once they're older too Plus, the next time we go to Disney my oldest will be 3 and my youngest will be almost 2, so it'd be nice to get to see their expressions when they get a pin to put up for themselves

I got SO excited when I stumbled upon this thread. Disney is my life and I've been collecting the pins for a couple of years now :) I know is also into Disney so she'll enjoy this board :D I'm going to reply to several people, to keep this board alive :)

I am totally addicted to collecting Disney pins too lol :D I am also currently selling off the Disney vinylmations I have, so I can buy more pins :P

What about you, how is your pin collecting going? And to answer your question about how people display pins - mine are up on a bulletin board and the rubber Mickey pin backs are in a little glass vase.

Thanks for pinging me here We do collect Disney Pins. We actually pin trade when we are in the parks. We also purchase a pin for our collection at each Disney Resort we visit. Each resort has their own resort themed pin so we love those. So far she has The combo pin for All Star Movies, Music, and Sports, the Coronado Springs pin, the Animal Kingdom Lodge Pin, and the Port Orleans Riverside Pin. We are looking forward to getting the Port Orleans French Quarter pin in May!

We get lots of 50 Traders on E-Bay and Amazon for around $26.00

We should trade sometime, through the mail, just for the fun of it lol :D I have not tried pin trading in the parks yet but it's on my Disney bucket list :P I just buy or trade with people (online) for ones I like. I mostly have Mickey/Minnie, and princess pins haha :) Does April have a favorite movie/princess/ride, etc? :)

We both like to collect Jimminy Cricket pins. She likes what she calls "The Derpy Looking Animals" pins. They are pins of different animals with buck teeth and big eyes. She's so wierd :P I collect any pin that features the Fab 5 and the holiday / special occasion pins.

You definitely need to trade in the parks it's a lot of fun. All of the Cast Members are wearing pin lanyards.

Haha I've seen several cast members wearing the lanyards, but never went up to them :P I only had a couple of my pins with me, and they were in my little backpack. I'd be too worried about them falling off of the lanyard lol. That's funny that she likes the nerd pins! The only one of those I have (so far) is Pluto :) Are you guys into Frozen? I love the movie of course but so far only have an Olaf pin.

Nope! ;O; Haven't sold a single pin yet. Well, I'm not actually trying to sell them atm. I'm out of the country and it would be really difficult to sell them long distance. xD

I'd be interested in seeing them, once you're back home and settled in :)

It is pretty great to live so close. At first, my family thought I was crazy for going so often, but my mom and sister started doing the same thing now haha!

Awesome! I just purchased a lot of 10 through someone on a pin trading group to start off my traders :D I have an instagram related to my pins (not much posted yet, but it will be soon!)

I'm nervous about those lots for so cheap D: Have you have bad luck with them mostly being scrappers?

I have a certain person I always get them from who sells on E-bay. Never had a scrapper in the bunch in fact we always end up finding some we don't want to trade and end up keeping!
