Hopefully this is okay to post? I used to collect Disney pins, but due to a house fire I lost them all. Recently I've been seeing lots of people on Instagram collecting them and such and I've been eager to get back in the trading game!

So, I guess I'm just curious as to where you guys buy your pins? I know the parks are ideal, but sadly I don't live near a park haha. I know ebay and Amazon have a couple lots, but I was looking for some other, maybe hidden gem websites that collectors know about?

Of course, we can just talk about pin collecting too <3

I did when I was younger, I have my pins somewhere in a box lol. I live about 2 hours from Disney and had an Annual Pass so I would just get a few whenever I visited :P So I have no hidden gem websites besides ebay. Good luck though!

Now I wanna uncover my pins and admire them haha!

I plan on going back to Disney in 2016, so I know for sure I'm going to stock up haha I wish I had all my pins! I might have to dig through our storage unit eventually and see if we managed to save some that I'm not aware of x-x

Yeah, I'll just have to keep checking ebay P: Thanks for the info though! I wish I lived that close to Disney! I'm obsessed with all things Disney to begin with so I know for sure I'd be there every day if I could haha.

Ooh well I hope theres some hiding in there! I love Disney too! My boyfriend insists I'd get bored with another Annual Pass (I asked for one for christmas haha) but I keep telling him theres no way I could. My family went every other weekend when I was in 8th grade lol!

Oh my goodness I'm exactly the same way! We only get to go every few years (we live in Louisiana so P: ) Every time I swear I'm the only one who's super excited and running around pointing at everything xD

RIGHT?! I went in November to Disney and the wizarding world of harry potter (the latter was for the first time) and I was just as excited for Magic Kingdom as I was for WWHP. I just about peed my pants when we got into Diagon Alley though.

I didn't start collecting pins until I went to Disney for my first anniversary! Although almost all of my pins are Belle pins! I did have fun starting my collection though, I didn't expect to get so into collecting them. xD

I haven't gotten to go to the Harry Potter world yet, but I want to so bad! My family usually doesn't do Universal, so it's hard to convince them to splurge a bit just so I can go to that and Jurassic Park (I'm a sucker for dinosaurs as well <3) So jealous!

Ahh I love Belle <3 It's crazy how addicting it can get haha, I hadn't even thought about those pins for years and then all the sudden I remembered them and I was hooked again!

Me too! I got to meet her in Disney World during that trip and she took one look at my lanyard and told me she loved my pins! I was having a little kid moment and it was super exciting! XD I'm such a child when it comes to things like that. Since I'm not with my husband anymore, I doubt I'll get to collect more, but I am happy with the ones I have! :D

Awe that's so sweet of her! I love the characters that take their roles seriously! They make the best vacation memories <3 Don't worry, I'm the same way haha I'll wait in line for character meet and greets before the kids will

I know, it was so excellent and so much fun! I have an aunt and an uncle who are always there (my uncle works security) and she got me up there to meet Belle, it was super surprising!

Yeah, I just don't think I'll ever get the opportunity to go back! It was a really fun trip though!

I never heard of disney pin collecting until recently. turns out the mom n pop movie rental place in my small hometown sells them. but unless you live in northern illinois, that's not going to help you. lol.

I collect them, but I never seem to have enough space to keep them. Do you guys just put them in boxes or on lanyards or what?

Also, Do you mind telling me the name of that place that sells them? I am from northern Illinois and I'm always trying to find new pins. :)

I had a tiny collection of them so I kept some on lanyards or left them on the little cardboard thing they come on and hang them by thumbtacks on my cork board. I know some people who just stick them to the cork board, but I'd be scared they'd fall off haha

I always have the issue that they fall off of the lanyards, so I spent extra money on those metal screw backs.
