Well I think I know what happened, but not sure if its a glitch or a 'feature' - I had saved my HA with the black shoes. Then DI posted a new item, the blue ballet slippers, and I just slipped them on my existing HA. The skin must have reverted then, even though I didn't click skins or base features. It shouldn't have done that until I went into skins and clicked the remove link.
