I picked up this lovely item in the FS today

I only had to quit 1 quest...and I still only got 65, so you aren't so far back.

Looks like the "L"s had the lower results today for 'em . I know I wont be doing cursed quests for Nori again till its done, from her I got 4. 4 out of 14 (had to quit 1 of hers) is horrible odds.

Gratz on the nice find! Im so surprised that shop is still going but Im not complaining!

I don't know how I'm going to quest tomorrow. They've changed the shop buy page and now I can neither see the amount I'm typing in nor the captcha :( :(

Because I have an old version of FF. The gift page, wishlist search and possible other pages I don't use have the same problem. I've ignored the problem until now because with the other pages I could use notepad to type what I needed then copy it into the boxes, but its not a solution that works for shopping while questing!

I've created a workaround that seems to work, but it messes up other input boxes. I really, really wish they would fix the damn coding so that everything was the same. Then my fix would work everywhere instead of making one thing better and a dozen other things worse.

On top of that my fix isn't perfect, I can now see the text, but its a strain because its too small. And if I make it bigger, that will mess up the other input boxes beyond usability.

I am sorry. SOrry you have to figure out a way to deal with the "fix." Sorry Keith changed things. I know it is silly and there were lots of people refreshing the free shop, not just me, but I feel so responsible for this huge mess. :/

there's no need to feel guilty. Even it were somehow "your fault" its something that's been coming for a while, since other pages have been changed/updated with the same coding. Not to mention that I was doing it too - not all the time, because I'm impatient, but whenever I could devote a bit of time to doing it that way.

LOL and there's an easy solution, its called upgrading. Unfortunately I can't do that because problems exist with my hardware that only buying a new computer would fix and I can't afford that. Its this piece of crap or no internet at all.

And...I'm off to dinner, with all the fiddling to make the input boxes work I'm way past dinner time, even for me 10:30 is way too late!

Well, I shouldn't have complained about how many tokens I got yesterday. :x Today was only 59. Mori only gave me 2 and Cynthia 3. Cheapos! And things are really getting expensive. I guess because everyone is questing these days. I didn't not complete all the quests for even ONE NPC.

Man its good to hear yall figured a way around the new restock window, I honestly do not know why they insist on fixing things that arent broke. Restocking went back to the way it was with the 5 second wait but why go thru all that just for "eye candy" is beyond me.

Todays NY token total is 63. I did 1 wiz quest I shouldn't have, wasnt paying attention and the skirt was like 170k. Im use to doing all of his, never seen one that expensive. But I also got a wiz quest buff that gave me a NY token so I guess that I cant complain. I had to quit a bunch of Petes today and once again Cinthia decided she likes Brainling. What is wrong with that girl - and quit at least 1 or 2 from the other NPCs except the wiz one I mentioned ^ there.

On a side note, theres no way these changes are on you. Just sayin'

Now to make a pot of chili and enjoy a nice vape. I REALLY need to remember to get backups, Ive been choking on my older vape stick for 2 days cuz the battery wouldnt hold a charge. Got a shiny new one today but with it being -40 below it took the full 3 hours for it to charge. I was getting so desperate for nicotine I actually took a drag off my brothers cigarette last night and no bull, I threw up a little in my mouth it was so nasty tasting. Today its back to normal!

I'm not far from you. Our winter weather is usually pretty similar, though a touch colder. Not quite -40 here (even with windchill its only -35c). Of course one of the coldest days yet this year and I had to go out for an MD appt. But I layered up well and didn't feel cold when I went out.

Actually, there are several things that do need fixing (even stuff that isn't apparently broken). The biggest problem is that they are doing it piecemeal. They "fix" something that has outdated coding, which, in turn, breaks that other thing with outdated coding, and so on. I'm much more aware of it than others because of the problems with my computer and browser. I just wish they would get it done, then I could fix any problems that turn up once and for all, instead of having to make compromise fixes.

Sorry you are getting so few tokens and having to quit quests. I would have had to quit a ton yesterday, but I happened to have several very, very expensive things in my hoard. I can't believe some items going for 500K and they aren't even rare, just normal!

you know, I really just like to complain. :p The number of tokens I am getting is really not bad. Though the price of items skyrocketing is more than just whining, it is truth! haha Laurie I have totally given up on trying to smoke those things. I just never got the hang of it. So I am still smoking the real things. Main difference is that now I am the one paying for them. ugh.

EDIT: Well I'm done with a disappointing 59. Should have been more though. I'm sure I got ripped off by quentin! According to my tracking I only got 3 doing those, and I saw more than that as rewards. But I didn't write down all the details as I was going along. Tomorrow I'm going to track better. Only quit 3 quests, 2 pete and 1 nori.

We finished about the same time. New Year Token x66 I only skipped one or two.

Going to sleep now. :)

74 for today. Certainly not complaining about that. Pete was especially generous with 10!

My count is 49 today - Ive got the Library, Cinthia and Maleria to do yet. Not lookin good if the trend continues tho.

edits several times I take it all back. Got 10 from Cinthia, 10! I take back most of the things I've said her - for now. Another 10 from Library quests and 7 from Maleria.
