Well that's nice :). All those sporks I accumulated while getting those oofa fruit have a use!

I figured you would have a ton of them. Congrats! I only had 40 something, which is still pretty nice.

In other news, I have to go get my car inspected at 1 and I am nervous. I hate having to do things not in my job description! lol I am always afraid they will take advantage of my inexperience

In similar circumstances I try to ask lots and lots of questions. They get tired of it pretty fast and either run out of time to hassle you or give up on trying to take advantage of you. Because, if you ask enough questions, sooner or later they will have to dumb it down enough so that their BS becomes obvious.

I'm never afraid to ask questions because even if the questions show your ignorance on the topic, you can't be an expert in everything and asking questions shows that at least you have critical thinking skills. Shows that even if you're inexperienced, you aren't stupid or easy to take advantage of.

I needed to stop at the post office on the way to get the car inspected so I went out about 15 minutes early...even though the post office is a block away and the service center literally takes 2 minutes to get to. Well, turns out it was a good thing I am so impatient. My car wouldn't start. And it has been having this issue off and on since oh...Christmas probably. but I have noticed it getting more finicky the past couple weeks. Well, I managed to track someone down to come jump me and got over there. The car passed with no problems. I had asked them to check the battery, and as expected, it needed replaced. I was not prepared for how much batteries cost though. I figured 50 - 60 max. No. 140. Yikes.

Funny that the car passed the test when it couldn't even start! Hopefully it is just the battery and once you get a new one the problem will go away.

PS what is going on with the wardrobe? Random items keep disappearing off my HA. I noticed it a couple days ago, and today my mouth is gone. I really noticed that because it took me forever to find a mouth that worked with my dark skin.

Well, I went ahead and got the battery. Now I looked on walmart and could have had a similar one with the same warranty for 109.00 oh well, support local business and all that, right?

I hadn't noticed anything with the wardrobe. Did you need an extra slot for your mouth? Used to be when the HAs were missing items they were adding new stuff to the wardrobe. Haven't seen that happen for quite a while though.

Nope...unless there's something wrong with the additional slot purchase system. I am using my max and I do have a purchased slot. The more I think about it, the more likely that seems. I don't remember exactly, but I think the other day it was the same sort of thing, where I was using max layers with a purchased one.

EDIT: Confirmed!! I took off my eyebrows and my mouth is back. Looks like the extra slot expired while I was making my HA so it didn't warn me I was wearing too many layers, even when I went back into my wardrobe, everything looked okay, but when I removed a face item and added one back, then I got the error message.

Glad you got it figured out. in the beta wardrobe you can buy and use more than one slot per layer.

I had trouble with my facial hair disappearing the other day. Looked fine in wardrobe but not anywhere else. I kept adding thing to my face layer til Subeta realized I had too many so I could add that face layer slot again. After that I was fine. :)

Yeah, I've got a pile of stuff that I collected to frag, but it retired before I could frag it, so now I'm stuck with useless junk, mostly clothes. The recycle beast used to ask for retired stuff, but then they changed it, now I don't know what he asks for anymore.

I hate little glitches like that. I mean the beta wardrobe has always been buggy, but those extra layers used to work perfectly. Makes me wonder what is going to fall apart in the wardrobe next.

Just changed my HA to something more along the lines of what I normal wear and didn't have any errors this time.

And yeah the extra layers sometimes have problems but they are a whole lot cheaper than the oh la layers. I think I still have a few hundred of those anyway though. :P

Oh yeah, I've used that extra layer a gazillion times already, way more than I ever used Oh la la thing. Usually on the face layer, but occasionally other layers.

I only have one of those books laying around.

I was wondering about that, I remember he use to always ask for retired stuff then all'a sudden he just stopped. What I wouldnt give if there was some way to use the pile of retired crap I didn't frag in time.

And why on earth does the hover show that Standard of the Lions overall price 100? Like that would ever happen!!

that hover price has been broken for ages. I am assuming the whole reason Cinthia asked for it is because that hover thing is broken.

Did anyone happen to notice if all their high scores paid out? I didn't get one for krypts cumulative or plushies. I would believe it if they got rid of the crypts one but would be really surprised if they did away with plushie payouts.
