Now to the part I'm worst at. TC D: I always hate doing TCs for some reason. So most of my pets end up with like 2 items in their treasure.

Wish you lived near Tahoe. I'd run you over some home-made chicken and dumpling soup. I just got up and have an hour before I have to leave for work. T'nite's my Monday and I spent the weekend making soup (and splitting wood for the winter store) No work on my pets sadly other than grabbing a few TC items and shoving them in the vault for when I get a MKB or two.

And you might not remember/learn everything the first time through, but at least you'll have an idea of what can be done, so whichever things you can't remember you can find again.

I liked Chariot's story! It reminded me a little bit of The Passage, by.. [sup]uh.. /googles[/sup] Justin Cronin. In a good way, of course. hit me up if you want to bounce some tc ideas around, I'm always happy to have a go at it. :) I like tcs, because all I have to do is buy stuff and then I feel like I've accomplished something. xD

That might be part of why you're not feeling good--smoking inhibits your immune system, so you'll not only catch colds and such, but it'll take longer for the immunoresponse process to actually finish it off. :/

Just popping in to say awesome idea for a chat group. I'm so very, horribly, terribly awful to my pets. Most of them sit there in the dark, waiting for the bright and shining day when I'll actually get around to do anything with them. A precious few are the shining ones that get treasure items, or books read to them, and then there's my one pet that gets everything. All the training, all the food, all the books and even HE doesn't have a special looking page or anysuch thing. Poor wee babbies.

it's been a while since I've read it, too! I do remember that it took me longer to get in to the twelve than the passage, though. I'll probably pick up the third one when it comes out, maybe it will surprise me. :P and you're welcome, it's no problem, really ^^ You've made a good start of it. I'll get cozy with subetalodge and get my tc hunt on when I get home. :)

welcome! you're in good company :P we might borderline-neglect our pets, but we do it with love. ❤️ I'm also guilty of lavishing all of the things one one of my pets, and letting the rest just sort of sit there. 8 of them only really get acknowledged when there's an event with battling or a new CS challenger, and even my second pet only gets a half-assed kind of attention. Every now and then I have a spasm of guilt and catch them up on some books or buy them something for their tc, then I go back to focusing on the one again. rinse, lather, repeat. 😆

He is currently attending a post-bac professional school which ends in a week. He got contacted by a hiring manager about an open position... in Alaska. Like wtfalaska. ALASKA. We live in Florida.

Yeah, we were planning on moving to Colorado. That was where he was focusing his job search. So we were excited for a climate change, but I wasn't excited for THIS much climate change. My friend was like, "Well, Alaska is kind of like Colorado... There's snow, and mountains... and it's cold?" Lol.

It'd be a huge change. But would the money be worth it?

Rose Wine! WOOOO! I do love me some wine.

He thinks Alaska would be a great stepping stone to break into the industry that he wants and to do really well. He foresees it as something to do for a couple years, and then when we are ready to start a family he could put in for a transfer back to the real country. But, like, it's a 5.5 hour flight from Anchorage to Los Angeles, which is the main west-coast hub for airline travel. FIVE AND A HALF HOURS JUST TO GET BACK TO THE STATES. WHAT.
