We should. Or at least try. Even if we don't get any pet progress done we can at least all whine about how more slots just means more pet work not done. x)

Definite is such a strong word. xD I have one character I'm sort of working on and a name I'm stalking for her. And a backup name already gotten in case I miss that stalky name.

And then there's the other one I was hoping to create. That would basically be a kid hiding under the covers in his/her bed while parents are fighting in the other room. I kind of wanted a RW name, because gender and such is not important. The story that has been trolling my mind is. Finding a suitable name is really the tough part. I kind of like words like timid or timorous for it, but those are taken in adjective form and the nouns are too... ugh. And to top it off I can't really put a word on the emotion I want it to convey. I'm picky. Maybe I should just suck it up and go real name hunting.

And thanks. It was so nice to finally be done with it. :) Lol, the categories are css :before and :after magic. I actually need to fix that because the second category header is positioned from the bottom and moves around a lot while all the items are loading. xD

Oh and I forgot to say. That art and character design is freaking gorgeous. :o I love it.

For me laziness is different, when I'm lazy about my pets, it's not flat out not working on anyone, it's more like, knowing that I have to get certain things done with certain pets, never do the certain things, and revamp the same (different) pet like 5 times. xD Long story short some pets get more attention than others.

aha heck yeah, after I got the slot I immediately made my pet and threw some stuff together. Today I'll be working on getting his profile coded. I don't really have a story yet though. Well I sort of do but it's not written yet.

All my pets are their names, majority not real life names, but still their names. Real word named pets always interest me because I think I had some back on neopets (or maybe almost real word names?), and I've had ideas here about what I'd do with them if I had one but I always ended up making pets with their actual names.

I know how that is. I usually always end up with just the story missing and even though I sort of know what I want to write I keep putting it off and starting on another pet, or redoing a profile or something. Or coming up with really vague ideas for pets that have already had numerous revamps, knowing I won't be able to make the new idea stick either. x)

Yeah you feel me! I do that so much. A lot of my pets have no stories or half written stories and I'm just like ...redesigns a different pet's profile for the third time

Lol, yes, that's the way to do it. Avoid the hard stuff and redo all the parts that are already finished.

He's going to be storm because the pose and expression on the Storm Dragarth is just beyond prefect for my story idea. ^^

The worst part with this new pet is that I've had part of the story planned in my head, some decent phrasings and all rolling around my head. Just never wrote any of it down. I hope I can get that back.

You can always keep the ID and change the name. It's not a bad name though, but if it doesn't speak to you, better not force it.

For his TC I was thinking blankets, pillows, headphones, handheld console games. Basically anything a kid might think of to avoid or ignore real life problems.

For once I basically have a pet mostly planned out from the beginning.

Good ideas. Since they offered the ability to buy slots in the MC, I'm planning on getting the first and cheapest one. The pet I want to make, I'm finding it hard to plan a TC for them. I really want to make this character but I just don't know how to translate what he's about into items.

Yeah it can be difficult sometimes to find items. Especially for certain concepts.

The idea you've got is interesting, and it's always a good thing to have a story forming in your head even before the pet, I know I've got massive problems writing down my stories. Gah, free adjective names are so rare now, it's a shame. :c Good luck hunting though! I've got one particular rw in mind that I'd love to snatch, but I'll have to wait for quite some time until it's freed, boo.

I'd love to check him out 8) I still haven't created mine, I'm waiting for a certain name ;--; Although if I actually do get it, I'll have to fiddle around a bit with some other characters. Most of my pets have their names, but lately I've been really charmed by real words that describe the characters (I've got Kinslayer and Firstborn who are both tolkien pets, hah.) I should work more on my actual original characters though, I've been ignoring them for far too long.

My new pet from the quest a thon slot is Barestr. I started to write his story in a word document but I only wrote a small paragraph so far. I love the concept of real words that describe the characters. I don't have any fanpets. Fortunately in my own characters universe, they're aliens with made up names that I would be very very surprised if the names were already taken. xD (hence barestr)

I really should write down my character stories too, but instead I just keep messing around with literally everything else and putting it off until I've ran out of excuses.. I thought I'd only have my OC pets too, but then I ended up rereading Silmarillion and now I've got ..three.. Tolkien pets. It's a wayy too slippery slope.

Speaking of being productive, another overlay at least partially done, this time for young Sauron. I'm kiind of planning on making an alternative version for him, but idk when I actually manage to get that done.

The new bulk TC slot button is going to swallow all my savings.

I'm like a lazy frustrated pet person. I know how I want them almost have their entire stories in my head but it's finishing tc's. Its trying to get the story actually out of my head and have it make sense to someone other than myself. Having the money to buy a profile and being able to describe it well enough so it looks how I want, not to mention finding an artist that fits the styles I'm thinking of. Anyway. In my head they are already done lol

I do want to write his story but I'm the same way, stories are the main reason I'm in this lazy pet group ...can never seen to get them done ;P

I've got a lot of OCs but 95% of them aren't developed enough to earn themselves a pet creation and profile. Maybe someday I'll make a tribute/fanpet to something I like then hehe

I've got the same problem when it comes to writing down stories, but if you want, I'm sure this thread can help you with all that stuff, finding writing motivation and filling TCs etc c: (I know I enjoy compiling TC suggestions far too much, hah.)

Not having proper profiles for my pets is what put me off from finishing any of them for the longest time as well, but I've been trying to learn a little bit of coding by stalking the forums and W3schools so I could make something by myself XD ... Yet still I've got none finished yet.

If you want, you can ping ideas off of me / brainstorm for pets, it might help developing their characters and stories. I'm pretty much in the same pickle, I actually just abandoned some of my old character ideas entirely and now I've got a bunch of blank canvases.

And thank you! Yeah, I draw all my own overlays (at the moment only Vincere, Kinslayer, Mairon and Firiel have art for them though, plus an age-old doodle for Belisle ). I really want to commission some peeps on subeta, but right now all my money is going either into saving or TC slots and items. IT'S HORRIBLE how you don't have to gamble with MKBs anymore, but it's also so very expensive and far too easy.. I love it.
