Haha, the scratch cards were a nightmare. But I just curled up and watched netflix while I did it. Went through three seasons of "Idiot Abroad" in order to do it. Need to find another TV show and do the same. Maybe next weekend I can get the 5k I need :p

Oh man, I don't know how you can plan it out without knowing exactly what is going to go in! I am constantly finding shit for some of my pets and chucking it in. Which is ok since a lot of my pets have 100+ TC slots. Which of course, still isn't enough for some of them lol.

Yes, always better to keep it all. you never know what could come of it! Speaking of writing, I really wanted to finish Yarrr's pet story today. But I'm unsure how much longer I am going to make it. I kinda wanted there to be a sword fight but he's like.. not really a pirate. He's a wanna be pirate. A pirate in training. Would he be in a sword fight? Probably not. He could always watch it from his hiding place though.. Hmm I will have to think on it.

Well it is proving difficult to find 5 important clues/items from some of the novels, but some of them just don't feel right with less. ;-; So I will have to make it work.

Thanks! ;o; I'm always so scared to enter though. I'm really shy and I can't imagine having more than a handful of people read my pet's page. The pet that I plan on entering first and foremost is my sweetheart devonti Lyxander. I don't think I have his nomination enabled yet though because I'm trying to finish off his TC first. Other than some missing TC items he's pretty much done. :D And I was thinking of getting him a real custom overlay first because let's be honest, people are more likely to click on a pet with a custom overlay right?

I might have to remake his layout though, because someone once told me that the pixelly-ness of it was unattractive. (Well, I made it in ms paint so what's expected? @ _ @ )

i have the exact opposite problem, my stories are too short oTL my only finished pet go kicked out of spotlight cause of this xD btw did you draw those pictures at your pet's profiles? they're awesome :D

And yes I did draw most of the pictures, so thank you! :) I say most because on my pet Zach.'s profile the human picture was a base from deviantart that I colored on. I also did the recolor overlays that I have :D

So I'm going through my old art thread and updating my pet Descriptions to include their reference pics/Art that I've gotten - as well as giving a few ideas as to where they are headed. I think this may make it easier for me down the line to write stories/fill TC etc etc.

Also - note to self: Need to buy more god damn art. God damn.

Took a quick look at your ZeeCaptein and I don't necessarily think the story is too short. I don't quite have time to read it right now.

One thing I did notice is that the text colors are pretty bright. Especially the purple is hurting my eyes a bit, and can be a bit difficult to read. Just my personal opinion of course.

Nice! Nerd status, but I actually have an excell file that lists all my pets and helps me keep track of what's done for each. I have a one word description so I keep their concept in mind, and I list how much art I have for each, how much treasure, ect. It helps me focus when I'm feeling scatterbrained.

I read the story and I actually think the length is fine. However, for such a relatively short story I think the grammar has to be pretty much spot on. And you do seem to be missing some articles in front of your nouns in a couple of places. Other than those missing articles I think the story is pretty good though. :)

always helps to have a bit of a starting point when I finally start writing. Which I should be doing now that I'm just sitting around watching tv.

that is actually a good idea! I'm currently writing everything in google docs so I can access it anywhere when I have free time. Not thT I have much of that these days.

Yeah, it definitely helps when writing. Especially if it's bee a while since you've worked on a specific pet.
