god, i really need to stop adopting new pets when i've already got a dozen others that i haven't even started working on, not to mention the ones that are in progress but still need stories. but i can't seem to help myself... i adopt a pet, code a profile, make an overlay, fill the TC, and then... well. the inspiration train stops there tbh. i'm just so bad at coming up with stories, and i'm pretty self-conscious about my writing so that certainly doesn't help. :S

I suffer similar issues, so you're not alone!

Well, at least you get as far as making a profile for them. =P (And even if I got someone else to make htem for me, I should still have an idea what I want the thing to look like, but it's so hard to decide...)

hurgh i'm in such a funk with every single one of my pets i haven't managed to get anything done in like a year, time to frequent this thread again. how's everyone?

I never do anything with my pets, but ooh boy, do I have complicated story ideas for them all <3

omg story of my life for my pets. 10 year subetaversary a week or so ago; I still have my first ever subeta pet and -cough- he still has no profile, I don't think he even has anything in his TC and due to so many revisions he has like only the vaguest of character ideas. He's so insubstantial to me but I refuse to part with him since I've had him so long. And then other's are just 'BAM I'm here, this is me --here is my life's story, enjoy.' I got Ruakh with my loyalty pet totem and his story and personality is so clear in my head even though less substantial ideas are still floating like just exactly what he is to have ended up where he did.

A lot of my babies have stories and things fleshed out and even art and some I have no idea. I've actually recently been trying to do busts and things of my pets part as warm-up for more serious art and then to try and have some sort of profile art.

One of my friends commented how I should try to condense the space on my profile of my pets (the spacing is really janky since it's just the plain profile option nothing fancy; yet another lazy thing I haven't gotten around to yet. >>), but the busts will prolly take up even more space. Oh well. I'd rather have a profile with a nice big focus on my pets. Busts for now maybe one day I'll get to all 59 pet profiles. -snort-

Also if anyone wants to chat pets or possibly rp a bit I'm game 8D

Huegh how did I not discover this thread earlier. If this ain't the most me thing ever, I don't know what is.

I've always found petsites -- and the people you meet off them -- to be the most conducive to character building and development, and it's fun to be around like-minded people who're here for the same thing and want to hear about yours too. That said, I've barely even done anything for the pets I have here apart from sporadically chuck things into their TCs. Most of the development I have for them happens, it just. Doesn't make it onto here because I can't begin to finagle with figuring out pet profile coding here and how I want to lay things out. Makes me feel a bit bad because I've been contacted by people wanting my pets' names before and ... I don't seem to do anything with them ... I do, it's just ... offscreen ... in Nanowrimo and art I have yet to upload here, ahaha.

Hello :) Recently I bought another extra pet slot from the MC because a name is clearing later this month... but I still haven't done much for my other latest pets x: Apart from a basic profile setup... But I guess I wouldn't be in lazypets otherwise.

Yeah, I know how that goes. Oh man, I haven't done anything with my pets in ages. I always log in like "Today is the day, Imma be productive!" but its been so long since I WL'd a bunch of stuff I cant even remember which pet half of it is for :S

I have that same problem. Plan to work on pet, next thing I know it's night time and nothing happened to my pet yet. If you don't mind having a lot of wishlist categories you could make one for each pet... :o I do that but I'm still the same way when I get a TC item I still have to double check which pet it was for.

I did ask for art once upon a time. So its not like I havent done ANYTHING on some of my pets :P

i have this really bad habit of drawing the same oc's over and over again while so many of my pets don't even have art lmao and i don't like making profiles until i have art so those don't happen either

BUT i'm totally planning on finishing some sketches during christmas break so hopefully i will! and maybe i'll also get started on some profiles who knows

Just be happy you can draw! I mean, if i could I would just be pleased that SOME art was being done for them, even if it was the same ones over and over and over :P

well i guess that's one way to look at it xD for some of my pets (egoist and folie come to mind) i have art from 2013 that makes me cringe lmao those are definitely the first two i'll draw once i have the time haha especially folie because he needs a redesign

I find it best to just assign a pet and be like "Not going to do another one until you're finished!"
