My pet routine lately has been all upside down. I'm too lazy to do actual pet design and commission art. Instead writing stories (or at least partial stories) for them is one of the first things I do.

It feels all kinds of weird since writing is usually the very last thing I get around to. Like a few years down the line from getting all the other stuff done. xD

It's been a while since I visited this thread, how's everyone doing?

I've fallen into the pit of changing my pets' names constantly and trying to revamp them entirely, this might have been a mistake. But at least I'm inspired, for once.

I stayed up all night trying to pick a name for my newest pet, and I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it. (But I wanted to have it created on that day =P) Maybe once I'm less tired I'll decide.

So that's another pet that might never get finish. >_>

Made progress on some pets, then lost other progress on other pets. So far has me feeling pretty tired of coding. It's a good thing I'm so simple when it comes to coding for things, I'm not sure I would want to handle anything more haha

Also just named my pet Termite! So there's that:)

Just adopted Holtzy after the character from the new Ghostbusters movie.

It's also entirely possible that Rah and I are going to have identical pets because of this.

Long time, no see! I'm trying to play again, work permitting. I adopted/created a couple pets, before I took this break. Since then, they've been empty. Now that I'm back, I'm updating profiles/colors and adding treasure to their blank profiles. I've started with at least 7 tc items a piece. Yay for mild progress! ;)

I'm still pretty lazy, myself. In relation to pets, right now I'm just waiting until later next month for 2 names to clear. There's a lot I could be doing with the pets I already have but meh...

Strangely I don't even have ideas for TCs for my future pets (if I get them) and my most recent pets are also suffering from a lacking TC. I'm still trying to build the characters, but it's hard to conform to TC theme(s). For some characters it's easier, when their character is built around the subject- like my Lyxander focuses mainly on cupcakes but I've extended to other small pastries, so his TC is pretty filling. But my mime character's TC is very lacking, for example.

I don't know, it just seems like some characters I can't feel like "I want to collect all of X type of item". Like I can't divide who they are into specific themes and look for items based on that sometimes. Eventually I succumb to this, though, to bulk up TCs....

So I guess there's no point in my ramble xD I guess just ranting on how difficult it is to make TCs sometimes. Wonder if other people feel the same way.

Ugh, Hesper's story has been sitting for so long, but I just am not in the mood to write anything. It's a shitty feeling to have period. It just feels like I'm paralyzed creativity-wise and just can't bring myself to work on it or any other project for that matter.

Man, I'm mad. There's so much for me to do with my pets but I can't get motivated to do any of it. 😫 I had an old style for my pet profiles that I recycled for all my pets that involved creating the layout in paint or something and putting the content over it but now I favor coding the boxes and layout. Some of my profiles are in the old style that I want to get switched over but the art is too old so I would have to draw the updated art. 😩 And as always most of my pets have no stories, very little content. I'm frustrated with myself.

Changed one of my pets to a golden Zentu earlier and now I actually have some ideas for her... although I still don't have much for her profile, or TC. Still, it's nice when I actually have inspiration for a pet.^^;

My pets don't really have stories up yet either, but looking through your pets, I think yours all look pretty good! They all seem cohesive as well. Maybe just try making/buying the art one piece per day, and in no time you'll have enough to switch over from the old styles to the new. :)

Rekindling inspiration for pets is such a nice feeling!

I've been adding more items to more of my pets treasure chests, so hopefully they look a little more worked on.. It's been awesome! I forgot how much fun it is to go nuts on treasure items. ;)

Haven't been working on TCs much lately, but I try to add some relationships between my pets if I can, as that is something that sparks my inspiration often.

Guess who got loyalty box, picked new pet slot and already used it and spend literally all sP on the key to make it steamwork -cries because now my pets aren't even on the profile-

Anyone ever have that problem where they have a pet that's really inspiring, except any idea you can think of doesn't seem good enough because you feel like you could do something even better with them? (That's sort of something that trips me up constantly, lol orz)

(In other words, I got Misleading earlier because I could not resist that name, I made him a Nightmare Devonti because I've always liked that pet, and I do want to get more stuff done with him but I'm still undecided about what exactly I want to do with him, etc. =P But it isn't like he's the first pet I have this struggle with.)

@ Kink Yes! That's how I'm struggling with Folklore (still) and Marbles. They're both awesome, but I feel like don't know how to do them justice... Haha. Misleading is an awesome snag, btw! :)

Thank you!! This month I've had quite the art block. I wish I could just draw up the pictures and be done with it... especially since I just got 2 new pets last week from name clearings!! (Like I need any more when there's so much to do haha) Also, the way you have item images on your profile to represent your pets is really cool. And I like your treasure themes for each pet. :)

i feel pretty bad about doing absolutely nothing for my pets considering they have such nice names... i use them in stories/roleplaying constantly but none of it ever ends up on subeta. i just like having pet representations of my original characters...

I'm not even sure how to go about my pets profiles. I'd probably end up buying some rather than doing them myself (even though that's more money to spend >_>) but even then I'd need some idea of what I want it to look like. So I'm feeling lost. And I still don't really have character designs for my pets, because I keep changing my mind for how I want them to look. Even Especially Theater who I tend to imagine a lot of the time.

Same. Well, most of it I just have in my head, because it's hard to write any of my ideas in a satisfying way. I've gotten slightly better, though. After 10 years or so.
