ETA: Wow y'all. I've been trying to remember to do the daily advent calendar at Neopets. Doing it just now, it's popping up an ad dead in the middle of the screen that's made to look like Comcast/Xfinity telling me I've almost used up all my data allotment for the month, and it looks very much like something that will install malware on my computer if I click it (and sometimes the really clever ones make the 'X' or 'Close' buttons send you somewhere, so I'm afraid to click anything). It keep popping up no matter where I go on Neopets, and the Submit A Ticket page is blank, wanting me to log in. NOPE. Sigh..........

Yeah, I think I'm staying off Neo again. They no longer have a https address, and some of the ads make me really nervous. Not worth the risk. My poor Neopets. :-(

Yeah the lack of https really bothers me. I have an adblocker, but it's probably only a matter of time before neo becomes one of those sites that tries to force you you to turn it off before you can use it.

I had a good but crazy Christmas. I decided to host Christmas Eve lunch with my husband's parents and then host the party with my family on Christmas day so it was a bit chaotic but it went fairly well. We still have one more Christmas but thankfully I'm not hosting it, lol!

Thank you for the mega tickets. That really sucks about Neo. I haven't been able to access my account in years due to it being hacked. The three times I tried, whoever hacked my account then tried to hack the email host I use and my email was shut down 3 separate times. I miss my pets sometimes. I worked really hard on them.

Oh no .. that's terrible! I only just went back on Neo for the first time in a long time at the beginning of the month for Advent. Had to jump through a lot of hoops to get back into my gallery accounts, but OF COURSE my main gallery account that had lots and lots of expensive stuff in it was frozen for suspicious activity. I sent in a help request (again, nearly impossible to do! it's like they don't care!) at the beginning of the month, and have still heard nothing. UGH. All my little snow petpets! Gone!! :'-(

Aw man that sucks. It's such a shame Neopets went downhill like that. It was an awesome site when it started.

Yeah, I can't even tell if there are any 'good' players left playing Neo. I had some expensive things I'd had up for trade, put them back up again while I was playing this month and only got junk bids or people waaaaay undercutting the stuff's value. No real bids. Sigh.

shakes head I wonder if it's a combo of younger players and/or people trying to undercut so they can inflate the price.

I'm assuming so. There have always been people trying to undercut to make a profit, and placing junk trades in the hopes that you'll accidentally accept instead of reject (the buttons are STILL crazy close together). I usually block the latter. But there used to be some honest players too. Sigh.

I had an amazing account back in the day that I wish I could get into. It was tied to an email account that was hacked and I couldn't get it back, so needless to say now that I've forgotten the password there was no way to recover it. I can still get into a side account I had, but so not worth it.

I wonder if all the honest Neo players came here, lol.
