True!! It's not worth very much, though, as potions go. I think I'll keep it and use it, because it was my potion lottery win!!! I've got a new goal - I'm going to have an army of Endeavors, each one in honor of one of the Space Shuttle Endeavor flights. I'm sure a dawn potion will be appropriate for one of them! One that launched at dawn maybe.

Oh I love that idea! :) I'm slowly working on backgrounds for my pets. I've got a phenomenal idea that I am fleshing out on paper before I put it up here. I need to get my husbands After the Bomb books and look up the stats for things in the Ninja Turtle Universe. I have an idea brewing for Oriwyn and another Qrykee I'll be adopting next week.

How's everyone's summer going? It's hot here, so I'm ready for a vacation to get away from the heat.

It's been busy with various birthday parties and get togethers. Today is rather cool for Summer though. It's only going to get in the 70s.

It's been ridiculously hot here too, and humid as hell! But then it will rain, and cool things down... like today. It was really nice on the drive home... still humid (we're supposed to get a lot of rain today, I even got a weather alert on my phone) but it was a cool humid and there was a lovely breeze. I'm still ready for summer to be over. x_x

In like... omg, twelve days? I'm going to California to visit! I haven't been home in three years! I'm so excite!

- My hubby's birthday is Monday, so we're having a small party for him. His big one was last year.

- Really? We're flying to LA on Wednesday and will be in Paso Robles until Tuesday! Looks like we'll just miss each other. What part of CA are you going to? It's supposed to be HOT in Paso the whole time we're there. Like 102, hot.

Ugh, it's crazy hot here too. We're under a heat advisory today. No hurricanes yet this year, so there's that!

I'll be in San Francisco! I am SO looking forward to the cooler weather and the ocean fog. I'm sorry you won't really get a break from the heat where you're going!

It's been quiet here... How has Subeta-summer been treating everyone? The Quest-a-Thon was a great motivator to do all my quests. I'm kind of at the point with the gelatin war where I'm a little burned out. I can't battle the two most recent guys so that's also a bummer.

Summer has been busy. I haven't quested as much as I would have liked, but I've done some. I haven't even had the chance to battle, so I'm just not. School starts for my kids tomorrow, so I'll be looking forward to some downtime during the day. :)

I'm in Houston riding out the storm. We're good so far - we're still dry and have power - but it's been iffy off and on for the last couple of days whether we'd stay dry. Couple more days of storm left. Fingers crossed.

I haven't had the attention span to do much of the questing. I'm glad the Quest-A-Thon succeeded!

@ Vestele Yeah, I had a good chuck of time this summer where I couldn't find the motivation to quest at all. How old are your kids? My son's school started today. Woohoo! I miss him but he soooo needs more structure than I have the energy for.

Oh wow. I hope you make it through okay! And it's crazy how we made the original deadline just in time too. Pretty cool.

~ My boys are 9 (4th grade) and 6 1/2 (first grade). Sometimes it's hard to believe my kids are that old.

I hadn't really been doing any quests... I think I was burned out from the last quest a thon. But I managed to get my butt in gear and do all my quests, and my friend gifted me a GA, so I ferreal did my part this time. SO glad we made the goal, and within the original deadline! what was it like, ten minutes to midnight when we hit a million? I'm just glad this didn't happen while I was back home!

Gelatin war... I have a stronger pet this time so I was able to beat 125 Golems, I'd never fought a golem before! but nothing stronger, and doing all that kinda burned me out on fighting any more gliders or minis. I get burned out easily lol.

And I have a new pet I've been zapping... he (well, she) has turned into so many experiments and I hated zapping over them but they just didn't seem right for a character that doesn't even exist yet...
