But not that it would happen or when. So I'm glad to hear that maybe some of this will happen in the near future. Thanks for the reply.

+ Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, they were both almost exactly what I expected to hear. Platitudes. The same one sentence responses made like every time this comes up. I hope that something does happen, and I would do whatever I could to help. I guess I just doubt that anything more will ever come of it, because that's usually how these things go.

I do think this anniversary celebration is cute, but it would have been a good time to start incorporating more backstory.

Thanks for saying what I'm too chicken to say lol. I am really excited and pleased that they've commented here and said they have the intention of doing something but... They say that about a lot of things. ^^;; (Anyone remember that fabled site layout revamp?)

I'm not sure where my courage came from, tbh. Probably because I think it'll be ignored, but also because I feel really strongly about this.. I think if done properly, in a way everyone can participate and enjoy.. I truly think it could save the site. I wish I could believe it's a priority, and being worked on, and so on. Fool me once...

The response you were given is because we don't want to spoil anything for you guys. and I actively had to stop from spoiling things during that livechat. We've all worked really hard on the anniversary trying to bring something to all of our features and to make everyone happy. To recap the road so far:

Food day brought a slew of food related achievements and really kicked off the celebration by using Charity’s food donation feature and announcing the winners to our cake contest. Achievement day was really about rounding out tiers for everything, like making friends, taking from lizards, and mass recycling as well as adding new achievements like planting a seed in your garden and new food/sticker/plushie achievements.

Ridiculous day was trying to get everyone to have fun and honestly surprising people (because out of all the days people guessed we’d have, who would’ve thought a ridiculous one). We rolled out more Genetech items (a feature that can never have too much love) and lets not forget a drinking contest between good ol’ Gunter and Angrybeard. You might’ve spotted the NPCs running around the different forums on Ridiculous day too. Calvin was especially sassy on the dance forum.

Pet day brought the tempest around, potions discounted (plus brought back to the Token Shop), and 7 new pets. Let’s not forget all the fun we had on quest day (and the millions people made off Saggi!). We got Drill’s prize pool the be worth questing again (and I’ve been putting together a list of more tasks for him to ask you to do), new jobs that have been requested by other users quite a bit, and the library added to the Quest Shop.

Battle day brought back old challengers and old weapons plus a guide for people new to battling that really got the battle community together (they all offered some great tips and feedback on it), and have made me want to do more guides like that for people. One that’s been suggested quite a bit is one on quests. I’m all ears for any other suggestions!

Game day brought revamped scratchcards, new achievements, and a revamped Mind Reader as well as token shop items and an easier passage through the Crypts. Collection day has only just started so I don’t want to give the rest of it away, but yay collections?

Let us continue surprising you guys for the rest of the anniversary, okay?

Hope you know we certainly aren't out to diss you guys or ignore how fantastic the 10th anniversary is so far! I've been dying each day to know what the next theme would be! It is great fun. We just mean (Well, I do, I don't want to speak for Gem) that Keith says a lot of stuff and half the time it kinda just disappears.

But yes let's continue the party! I'm not really a collection person but I can't wait to see what you guys do anyway! XP

woah not expecting that! I wasn't talking about this event at all - I think it's been a lot of fun and going really well. I appreciate your response and explanations, but what I'm really trying to say is that when there is a lengthy topic where lots of users have concerns/suggestions/feedback, and a staffer (particularly ) pops in with a two sentence "oh yeaah! If there's time :)" it just seems extremely dismissive. And off-puttting, like there's no point in trying to contribute ideas because it feels like a brush-off. I didn't think it had anything to do with spoiling surprises or the like, because it isn't a secret that the lore is lacking? idkm

I was just using this event as an example of the fact we have cool things planned in general but can't really talk about it because spoilers! i'M ALSO JUST REALLY PASSIONATE ABOUT ALL THE THINGS WE'VE DONE (it could be my lack of sleep, after rereading that post hahahah).

And I can honestly say and I love getting suggestions and ideas from the users. We often have discussions of different boards we've seen in the different sections over here. I guess the best I can say is that we might not always post on the boards, but we do talk about it.

Though there are some things that don't seem to add up about the different stories, I'm gunna go to feedback bout that

I have to admit that the descriptions are pretty fun to read so far. I was a bit worried that it would be very much different from what I have in to my mind. Well there are differences, but not dramatic.

I see the lore as a tool for General info.

I just only hope that if someone once writhe a private beautiful story wich has got somewhat deviates from the General description about his/her pet, don't pinned down by other people on the General lore and the person must limited by how he/she supposed to write within the framework of what the lore offers. I hope we keep the freedom in that case we have got at the moment.

I love this already, but just want to say one thing: I refuse to accept the pronunciation of Popoko. I knew it was going to be that, but I will forever say it POP-oko. stubborn
