My family are all muggles, but my grandfather was a wizard and i got it from him. My brother thinks it;s cool that I'm a witch and tells me to do all these cool tricks but of course I can't due to the no magic outside rule.
I know a lot of attacking and defensive spells. I also trained in muggle fighting techniques

Oppress the muggles, ha!
I am a pureblood witch, as well as the rest of my family. If you like, I can provide a lineage going back quite a few generations documenting our pureblood. I take great pride that not only have we never married outside of the widarding world, but my family tree has never produced a squib either.
I've just now sent word to my father. He has a...network of friends that will also keep an eye on all muggle related news, among other things.
As far as useful abilities, well, my father may have procured some items that would be very useful, if things take a turn, and battle is necessary. As for myself, I've done my fair share of studying the dark arts. I know all the useful incantations by heart. Given the right opportunity, I'm sure I would be among your top students and excel wherever you place me. I have no qualms about taking down those that wish to do harm to me. Us. I meant to say us.
Hey ! Looks like we've finally got our next task, and it's pretty important too! This time we've got an assignment from our... ruggedly handsome Defence Against the Dark Arts Teacher... ;3
</p>My family are obviously all purebloods, dating back hundreds of years, and all have proudly been sorted into Slytherin house (except great great uncle Meryn, whom slipped through and was sorted into gryfindor. He was instantly disinherited of course and was never spoken to again by the family. He was erased from all of our history books and was never heard of again after he left Hogwarts) I have one younger brother, called Trip and my parents are called Ivina and Garrett. My mother says at home and my father works with money (can't really elaborate further) and my brother is a first year Slytherin. For what I'd bring to the fight - I'm terribly good at transfiguration, the best in my class in fact (modesty has never been a strong suit of mine :P) and often get a kick out of playing a few harmless tricks on Hufflepuffs (turning shoe laces into worms, scarves into snakes etc - just harmless mediocre stuff) but I'm able to do way more than that, and given the chance to fight, I'll show you what I can really do!

I come from a muggle/wizard family, my mum and her side are all witches and wizard, my dad and his side of the family are muggles, but we all get on really well, I have a younger brother who cant wait till he is old enough to go to hogwarts,
I am a quick learner and do know a few tricks to seek out the truth or to find simple deceptions,
The Stormlair family, though a minor branch, is a proud and ancient line. My father is Claude Stormlair, who specializes in elemental spells. My mother is Mariah, who is famed for her skill at potions. My sister Deborah is something of a shame to the family, being a squib, but her spirit is all Slytherin and she arranged a very good marriage for herself. My brother Bruce has no speciality, but he is very skilled at all the spells and charms he has learned so far. I seem to be following in my mother's steps in being skilled at potions. I'm willing to supply any that might be of use in the coming conflict.

Ah, the Beauxyrenne family has quite the enchanting and diverse history. My mother and father are both considered pure-blood, and both studied at Hogwarts. Mother was a ravenclaw like myself, wise and quick her talents were primarily in charms and transfiguration. Father was a hufflepuff, patient and loyal, and prided himself on his natural talents with herbology and potions. On mother's side we have grand-mere and grand-pere who both studied at l'académie de magie de Beauxbâtons (or as most people here call it - Beauxbatons academy of magic). Grand-mere shared mother's talents of transfiguration (she passed the gene for metamorphmagi to mother, they're both a hoot at parties) while grand-pere was more interested in defence against the dark arts. On father's side there's meemaw and pepaw. Meemaw is muggle-born and pepaw is pure-blood. In fact, my meemaw's parents had no idea there was magical blood anywhere in the family history (turns out meemaw's great grandfather was a relatively well-know wizard) until their little girl began to move things from across the room. Meemaw is fiesty even in her old age, she's quite quick and can turn a wand like no other. She works mostly with historians now, charting the magical history of families. Her favorite course at Hogwarts was Muggle Studies, as she has always been close to her muggle family and friends. Pepaw was another transfiguration nut, he became quite talented and is a registered animagi. He's always had a way with mythical beasts, perhaps because his natural affinty for seeing through their eyes.
I'll send owls to the family right away. I have no doubt both mother and father will be interested in aiding us. They can pass quite easily as muggles, and mother could likely become useful as a spy since she can alter her appearence. I doubt my grand-mere, grand-pere, meemaw, or pepaw could be front line with us (though meemaw would certainly like to) but they have a vast network of connections in both the wizarding and muggle worlds both here and back in France so I have no doubt they could aid us.
As to my talents in the battle, I share my mother's talents of metamorphmagi and my pepaw's ability as an animagi. I'd be more than happy to inflitrate and spy, or to transform and rally magical beasts to our aid. There's quite a network of creatures out there if you know where to look. Charms are my specality outside of this, so I'm sure I could put my ravenclaw mind to work researching the steps this anti-magic group has taken and laying out charms to slow their advance. Though not my primary talents, I will defend this school against any threat at the front lines. I'm a quick learner, and I'll take wand and prepare for a fight if that's what it takes.
Sorry guys if I'm not really participating lately. I have so much going on in my life and don't have much time to sit down and play on Subeta.
Professor Yllodyn, my family is pureblood, but a few of my aunts and uncles have married half-bloods or muggleborns. My mother, Allandra Borrinrange, is pureblood. My father, Bortus Alchenraine is, also. I have one brother, who will be starting here in three years, his name is Dant'e. Both my parents attended here, where they met. My mother was a Ravenclaw and my father was a Slytherin. They're still not sure how I ended up in Gryffindor, but things happen, ha! I don't know an awful lot about my aunt Claire, who married a muggleborn, because she went off to live in the muggle world before I was born. As did my uncle Simon, but after I was born ... he married a halfblood and they visit all the time. My cousin, his son, is totally awesome, too. They bring things around every holiday and he always has the most brilliant little things, in fact, he brought me this weird thing that is like a small moving picture you can hold in your hand and ... uh, yeah, well, anyway, they mostly live in the muggle world, too. I'm sure they know lots of muggles. I can ask anything, if you need me to. I have a few more uncles and aunts, but they live in the magical world and rarely leave. They're also spread all out, but we all come together for holidays. Like my aunt Hilda brings her cats, she has ten of them and they go EVERYWHERE with her. There's Roddie, Kitts, Losh, Peppy, and, well, you get my point, there are a lot of them. They're her children because she didn't have any. My uncle Boris, who has been married 3 times, now, has a bunch of children, both pureblood and haldblood. Some older, some younger. I don't really like being around the younger ones, they're too young and I'm more mature.
As for my skills, hm, I'm really good at anything having to do with quick wand work, dueling and the like.
Uh, I can't think of anything else and this is kind of boring, uh, I mean ... I really don't have more to tell and I'm probably taking up valuable time for others to tell you about their families. Yes, that's it.
I'm a pureblood. I have one brother, Andrew, but no parents. Andrew is still very young, so I don't believe he would be of much use to us. I know multiple ways to kill any kind of creature.

I am a half-blood, although blood does not matter much to me or my family. My mother is a muggle Healer, and my father works in the Ministry, in Transportation. He went to Salem Witches Institute, in the USA. He had an affinity in Charms and Arithmancy. My mother studied in Britain and loves Muggle Mathematics and Science. My father was a half-blood, and his parents also attended the Salem Witches Institute. However, he is also a half-blood. I have no siblings.
I don't think that my family would know too much about what's going on. My father does work at the Ministry, so that may be of use.
My talents? My best subjects are Potions and Charms. I consider myself smart (a Ravenclaw) and I feel that my research skills are superb. I could also help with all the behind-the-scenes work required, like rallying student support or helping the house-elves. I don't think that I am a great battler, but I could do it if I was in trouble.

I have a large number of relations, technically speaking; where I'm from, extended families live together. At one point my paternal father, my parents, two uncles and four aunts, five cousins, and seven siblings all lived under one roof. (Four sisters, three brothers. Two of the sisters, Kalika, Manishi, are dead of neglect, Swati ran away and is missing even from me. The brothers, Aadi, Mohak, Shukla, are well). I will not do my parents the respect of stating their names.
Most of them are Muggles and there isn't much evidence of Wizard blood in my family, but my maternal grandmother was a wizard as her diary records. I will not mention the name of them here but, apparently as part of a power struggle during the more cutthroat earlier years of Voldemort and his contemporaries, some families were driven to ground or even eliminated if they got in the way of the ambitious.. I am the only full wizard among her descendants, although two of my cousins are Squibs. Another cousin may be a wizard, though, as he went wandering as a mystic.
I have seen what Muggles do to each other, although I will also say that the wizard world is not blameless. Turns out that people who have made distinctions in their mind between kinds of people are even quicker to enforce caste expectations. Still, the Muggles don't need us to oppress them. They do it well enough to themselves and to others.

I'm Arwen, from Ravenclaw.
I'm a Wizard, like my father, Elrond. On the other hand, my mother, Ellawyn, is a Witch and so is my brother Thadel. Although we have very different personalities, we are very united; specially when battling against dark forces. We live far far away from Muggle's cities, we don't want to them to know about us. Oh! I also have a dog, Jess, and a cat, Pip. Both of them like magic too! (Pip can fly!). My parents have a small bakery shop in Diagon Alley; both work there. My brother started studying in Hogwarts this year, he's very talented so far. This is my fourth year in Hogwarts, and I'm going for many more!
Regarding my skills, I am very good with healing spells. When I go to battle, I also bring a bunch of curative potions and elixirs which are very useful most of the times. Oh! I am a very good archer, so I can help with attacks too. I would be so proud to help, Professor.
I am Half-Blood, Professor. I am the son of Susan Bones and Simon Williams. My father is a muggle and a bloody good one. He is a paramedic. He's like a healer, for muggles. I know he wouldn't want any harm to come to the wizarding world and my muggle family is small. They can help you if you need, my father knows some people through the hospital.
My mum's family was mostly wiped out during the wizarding wars, but the Bones family is still strong. We fight for what is right and try to help people. My mother taught me a lot about being kind as well as forgiveness and trust. Maybe there is still a chance to talk to the muggles. Maybe we can show them that we don't want to hurt them and we can still get along. We have lived together with muggles for a long time, not always in the best situations, but we did live through it.
Maybe this is not a time for war, but a chance for understanding each other. Maybe we can not have to hide and maybe we can all learn to accept each other for who we are, not what sort of powers we have or don't have. Everyone has talents, Wizard, muggle, it doesn't matter.
There are lots of families that have muggles in them and alot know about us and they don't try and attack us. We can get along. I know we can.
If it comes to a fight, which I really hope it does not, I'm good at flying and defensive charms. I also know some first aid magical and non-magical.

I'm a pureblood. My grandpa thought he was the first in his family, until later on (around the time my dad was born), he discovered that his dad was actually a squib, from a pureblood family. Evidently he, himself, hated that he was a squib and grew to detest all things wizardry. He disowned his own family, moved away, and started his own life far away from everyone that knew him (we reconnected with the family and they're amazing ! His parents never thought less of him, though did worry due to how other purebloods tend to think... including some of their own extended family...).
My mother is an aura, personally protecting the US minister of magic on countless occasions, and my dad works in Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office (he said he was too busy being a rockstar [in his own head] to study to be a healer). My sister is a stay-at-home mother, but does side work as a cosmetologist (creating potions and spells to alter peoples' hair, nails, and though I think she's given up on hands-free makeup for now, she did improve the eye color changing potion so you're no longer left with bad gas). My older brother... Is in Azkaban, but we don't really talk about that... But my younger brother is studying to work with dragons out of country ! He keeps sending me samples of their, uhm, droppings. Kids, I swear.
As for me ? I hope to be an aura. So you can count on me if things come to a fight. I'm quick, I've already mastered wordless spells, and the Imperius curse doesn't work on me (that... was painful to learn), and though I am a very logical thinker. I may not be the best, but I can help plan strategies. Give me an order and consider it done (unless it goes against a moral code). If need be, I can be a spy (I studied under Professor McGonagall for a while learning transfiguration). My animagus is a northern white-faced owl, though I still struggle at times getting it right the first go (I am working on this !).
Oh, and I bake. I promise I didn't put a love potion in your cupcake. It's cherry sauce. Ohmygoshyouaresocutepleasestopstaringatme
Really professor? Instead of actually teaching us anything useful during our first lesson, you decide to instead get us to do a glorified "get to know me"? And while wizards attacking on - what was it again. Ah yes, "pirate ships" - are very interesting, it would be unlikely that any students would be able to provide the information necessary for the breaching of security that has obviously occurred. Maybe your time would be better spent interrogating the members of staff who let Durmstrang in during the last Triwizard tournament, the cases seem similar. Especially since you don't suspect us of course. My parents and siblings are back in New Zealand, and have never attended this school. My mother is magical, though has never received any schooling or a wand (things run a little differently there, it's still a new system). My father is a muggle, and doesn't appear to have any interest in magic. My foster sister is also magical, we thought our family was best suited for her. My older brother attended a different wizarding school and my younger sister is too young to even consider. There is a small wizard school and marae back home, which students attend for the first couple of years of their magical education - before moving to a different school of their choice that has agreed to these transfers. Skills... All of your magic is based in latin and greek roots, whereas my learning has been far more varied, which I've kept up during my stay here. This can provide some interesting spells and effects that are often only partially blockable by their european counterparts without mixing spells. Not sure how much use that will be, but I've been finding it interesting discovering how different understandings and intentions shape the magic.
Think outside the circle
Hello, Professor! I'm MasterSir.
I come from a proud wizarding family. We certainly haven't ever had even a single Muggle, Muggle-born, Mudbl-I mean- Mixed-blood, or even a Squib in my whole entire family. Each and every one of us Slytherins, too. We have records to prove it and surely, those haven't been falsified or anything. That would be dishonest.
As for my skills, I'd like to think I know a bit of everything! And did you hear about my Serpensortia? Professor H. said it was really good! Truth be told, I'm very interested in duelling. I know a few hexes, jinxes, and a curse or two. I'm still practising. I mean, I'm a brand new student, so I haven't really mastered them all, but I think I'll be really great, Professor! Are you making an army? Can I be in your army, pretty please?
So excited to hear from you professor! Eurgh, Slytherins are catching up to us Ravenclaws. Let us not slip up at the very end, this cup will be ours! No time limit given, so I suppose it's best for us all to aim to have our potions in within the week. Looks like there's a lot of points at stake here, so let's get creative! C:
