Once, my mom found a picture of me on her computer, used photoshop, and turned my hazel eyes to blue eyes. The only thing we ever did with it is get it sent to me. We just were curious what I would look like. 8D So changing eye color could be a bit useful if you wanna kill some time. XD
It does drive me up the wall a bit. My friend loooves to photoshop every little flaw out of her and she always changes her eyes from brown to light blue and it doesn't even look like her anymore.
haha omg, i remember someone posting on the PYP thread and they photoshopped the shit out of their eyes. it was hilarious. although it was kind of sad when people actually complimented her OMGZ AMAZING EYECOLORZ. its like really, you believed that?
Lmao at color changing eyes. All my friends claim that. One will be like 'YEahhhh my eyes change colurrrr ;)' and then the rest will jump in like ' OH ME TOOO '. Sure, sometimes my eyes look browner or oranger or even greener but it all depends on what eye-makeup I'm wearing or the amount of daylight P;
But it can happen over a long period of time. My grandpa, who had dark dark brown eyes, has the lightest blue eyes now. And my mom, who had brown eyes too, has awesome green ones now. Mine are slowly beginning to lighten too; I hope the same happens to me :D Though I do love my eyes now. There's just enough orange in the brown to content me. Honestly, colorful eyes are cool, but all eyes are beautiful. I especially like really dark, shiny ones :)
ahahaahahha i have blue eyes but almost all pictures of me make it look like i have brown eyes. i dont even bother to edit them back to blue though/
"ITZZ NOT PHOTOSHOP, ITZZ GIMP" One of my friends from middle school told me that. xD
I photoshop my eyes to brighten them sometimes, because my cell phone camera sucks. It turns out horrible, and I usually end up posting the original.
And once, I saw someone photoshop their hair. I was like o_o, your hair is not that color. Their hair is originally blonde, and they added pink and orange to it. They said they dyed it, but THE NEXT DAY it was back to normal. xD "My mom got mad."
I don't know anyone that photoshops their eyes. But I love mine. They're this strange mix of colours. I even have a brown spot in my right eye! So would I change them? Not in all hell. <3
Though my friend gave me this great pickup line: "Your eyes are as blue as my toilet water." I replied: "Who forgot to flush then?"
Eh I don't know, I feel people should be happy with their eye color but I get why some photoshop it. A different color is more desirable, 'grass is greener' thing maybe. I have hazel eyes, however, they will change from full on brown to full on green. I don't know why, I know it isn't because of my emotions. ('lawls' at the Attention whores who say their eye color changes when their angry) I do know it might be genetic, both my mother and sister have the same thing. I might invest in asking an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist about it. It doesn't really matter though, because I'm fine with both colors and wouldn't try and Photoshop them out.
Also, someone mentioned that eye colors changing over time, yeah when I was little my eyes were the darkest brown. They didn't even show a hint of hazel/green until about 3 years ago. Now they more or less fluctuate.
I don't mind it if they admit its fake. I hate people who try to do it to every picture and say its real. I mean, once I made a picture of myself black and white but with pink eyes as opposed to my natural grey. And then my friend made her eyes (which are dull blue) a bright blue/green and tried to say it was natural.
Yeah, I hate that too! Why lie about your appearance? The only thing I ever do with my pictures is change the lighting because sometimes they are either too dark or too bright originally.
What gets me are the people that claim their eyes change colour. I mean, most people's eyes change colour a little bit depending on the light. But that's only because a lot of eyes have more than one colour in them. Mine are mostly blue-grey but there's a tiny amount of green in them as well. Direct sunlight makes the green colour in my eyes stand out a bit more. They never changed colour because the green was already there in the first place so to say my eyes change colour to green would be a lie :P
From blue to brown from green to bright red depending on mood - blue, tranquil, brown, content, green, envy and red, anger etc - is what makes me laugh. It isn't possible for a human's eyes to do that. So um...basically what these people are trying to say is that they aren't 100% human! Er...congrats?
I loved all the pictures everyone found...
I hate it when people think they can photoshop really really good, but in all reality it looks like shit.
Once, my friend was on my computer and photoshopped a picture of themselves with my Adobe and was all like, dude, I wish I looked like this ALL the time. I looked at the picture later on and she didn't even have all her eye colored in spots and you could clearly see it was fake, she also photoshoped her lips a darker shade and it was the same as her eyes, not completely done.
She added it to her myspace and it looks ridiculous.
I've photoshopped my eyes before, but I stated on the picture it was photoshopped and I also did a few other things to the picture to match the eyes. It was a completely fake picture.
But I don't have any photoshopped pictures that I tried to pull as real.
I think it is bullshit that people photoshop their eyes to look cool. That is just idiotic. Of course, I am all for colored contacts, ‘cuz that is what I wear. I have in one clear contact and one green contact in. It looks pretty badass!

I don't understand why someone would Potatochop their eyes, other than for artistic purposes (I've seen some -really- pretty photomanipulations of people's eyes, but it was stated that those were manipulations). Doing it on a 'post your picture' thread to seem cool or unique (usually) backfires.
My friends claim my eyes get darker when I'm angry, but I don't know if they're lying or not :P I'm not inclined to believe them.
I tried looking on google for an answer, cuz I’m a nerd like that, but I couldn’t find a definite answer. Some people say yes it can while others say no. I guess it depends on who you ask.

Wouldn’t the image in your signature be a photoshopped eye?

Eyes can and do change colour from time to time in subtle ways, and it's more the pattern on your iris that changes than the colour itself. My eyes differ depending on what colour is more dominant for a certain period of time, either the grey or the brown, or usually something in between. My sister with the strange hazel eyes doesn't have her eyes change according to mood, if anything they may change because of stresses, but I think it's just random. Although, when her eyes are that weird yellow colour and she's pissed off she looks quite scary :P
Most kids that go "OMG, MY EYES CHANGE COLOUR!" are probably full of shit, but it can and it does happen to some of us
But back on topic, yea, I can't imagine why anyone needs to lie about eye color. You can photoshop ugly, but your still ugly IRL.
It's the little flaws in a photo or portrait that add personality. If you photoshop them all out you leave only a plastic-skinned, cyborg-eyed image that conveys nothing. When I'm editing portraits I only remove noticeable blemishes and brighten or fix contrast. I try to use Photoshop as little as possible :P
I can't say I've ever changed my eye color in a photo, only maybe brightened or increased the contrast. I do notice a big difference in my eye color based on light. If it's a snapshot taken with flash in a dark room my eyes appear kinda green brown. If I take a close-up with decent lighting my eyes are obviously a blue-green with yellow centers.
People who photoshop themselves and claim that as reality obviously have some confidence issues and are trying to live up to someone's standard of beauty. Honestly, I feel bad for them :(
