My eyes are brown, almost black. I like them. Why not be happy with what you have?

People who get those freaky colored contacts are crazy.

ugh yeah why bother lying about stuff like that. it's like lying about your hair color or something. even though my eyes are poop brown, i'm not going to photoshop them like, pink. i have no idea how to photoshop anyways :( IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR EYES THERE IS ALWAYS COLOR CONTACTS YA KNOW.

I HATE HATE HATE when people lie about stuff like that. Take this girl for example. one, two, three, four. Her eyes are obviously green, but there is no god damn way their color fluctuates that much (and that they are that clear in every picture), or that her skin is that perfect, for that matter. Anyway, I'm ranting about one person in particular, sorry. I just have some bottled up frustrations involving her. :x But there are so many people who shittily shop their pictures and I don't get why. I can understand getting rid of a pimple or two, but changing things completely and making your appearance totally different? I just.. I can't wrap my head around it.

i like my brown/gold eye color thank you ^_^ buuuuuut i buy sets of really freacky contacts like electric unhuman eyes or cat eyes....mostly to freak people out...its funny to see what they do if i post a picture most ppl call it photoshop...butttt how can i photoshop video /:3 this one time i walked into a subway with glasses on and i was with a friend that also had cat contacts on i took off my glasses and started talking to her ..just talking and a elderly man starts hystericly shouting DEAMONZ FROM HELL!!!!! and runs for it into the next car...and we're like.....giggling hystericly and we almost wet our selves the contacts werent red or anything they were bright gold and had black slits for pupils...you know? normal cat eyes? it was funny as hell XD

I have really green Hazel eyes and I love them. I don't understand why people photoshop things like this. If you're born with blue eyes they are supposed to stay blue.

Photoshopped eyes look flat to me. I was playing around with gimp and tried to photohop half of my eye one time. It's pretty obvious.

Agreed. It's just because of the lighting. It doesn't change colors. :x Example, in a shady area, my eyes are a grayish blue. In the sun, it's a really bright blue.

I thinks it is strange when people do that. I havn't seen a pair of eyes that had a bad color. They all look fine. Some better then others, but none look terrible.

Changing their eye color?! I don't know anybody who has done that... It seems like such a tiny thing. Can you really be that insecure about your eye color??

I love green eyes and all, but I'd never photoshop my eyes to make them green... Though I also think purple eyes would be a blast.

It really confuses me, especially because in almost every case, the fake eye color is green. Maybe it's just because most of my family is green-eyed so for me it's commonplace, but I don't see green as some uber extraordinary color and if you have green eyes you're special and unique. It's just sad if you have to pretend that your eyes are a color they're not. What are people trying to accomplish by doing that?

People who lie about eye color are weird attention seekers. So your eyes aren't some out-there color? Deal with it, or at least get contacts and lie about it so we can all gawp at it in amazement. >:|

I agree. I dislike it when people photoshop their pictures and claim it's real. I can't exactly say much about those who claim their eyes change color though. Mine do. I have hazel eyes. Usually they're more brown, but other times like in the sun, they're more green. I don't know if that counts, though. .__.

I agree with though. Eye colors only change because of the lighting, just as mine can look a very dark shade of brown, almost black, when I'm in a dimly-lit room. Out in the sun, people have said mine look more brown. Obviously just the lighting, and not my emotions.

Have these kids who think their eyes change color when they're angry ever looked themselves in the mirror when they're ticked off? Apparently not, or they'd know it's a lie. But I think their problem is that they want to be "cool" or "different" or even "special" for that matter. It's all a ruse to get attention, if you haven't noticed.

Bizarre eye color? Yeah, if someone had rainbow eyes, it would draw attention. Thus. Or red eyes. Or golden eyes. Or any other odd and unnatural shade you can think of. Like purple.

I personally think one should be happy with the way they were born; why change yourself? So you can be better than you were? So you can look cooler than you were? I'm sorry; I don't believe that appearances are all that counts. Personality. Character. That's what really defines a person, even though, yes, we obviously all look different in some unique way. Unless you modify yourself.

And when you modify yourself to look perfect, you lose the beauty you once had, in my opinion. It's only fake, and fake is never true beauty. Yes, it could be appealing, but it's fake. And hollow. And shallow. And that's all it will ever be. Compare that to love and you'll get what I mean.

It's a pet peeve for me, but that's because my favorite features are eyes, and I'd rather not be misled by people. The really sad part is that if you meet someone with amazing eyes these days, you just generally assume that they're wearing coloured contacts or edited their pictures. For the longest time I thought my aunt had the most amazing green eyes...nope, contacts -_-;

My sisters and I have weird eyes though, thanks to our Dad. He has mutant, co-dominant grey eyes, they're very cool in and of themselves, but when he and my mother had children, it meant that neither her dominant colour (brown) nor his grey could cancel one another out completely. We ended up with mixed-colour eyes, from darkest brown down to hazel. My youngest sister has eyes so dark that you never see the colour change or shift, mine are almost too dark to notice (mine switch from grey-brown to brown to almost evergreen-brown), but our middle sister got hazel eyes. I'm so amazingly jealous of them, her eyes can be anything from grey, to brown, to green, to nearly blue, even a honey brown that almost looks yellow.

So naturally everyone assumes she wears coloured contacts....

well jeeze i was having fun because it was spirit week at my school and the man that ran and changed cars was the crazy old homless guy that hung around the subway....he sometimes crashed near a fred meyer store inside some really thick bushes and continully ingraved in the trees "its okey to be smart its okey to be smart" and next to that he had a quadratic formula O.O sorrie if it sounds unreal and im no attention seeker jeeze i just decided to put on some contacts one day for the fun of it im not an attention seeker and as i said at the begining of my post im fine with my eye color thank you, i dont photoshop them and dont lie about them and i never said my eyes were cat eyes 'cause that's just plain stupid its just fun sometimes to put on a pair of halloween freaky contacts and giggle at how sometimes people think their real. no harm done there ^_^
