Jack ran up to punch Alek in the face and it started bleeding. "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!" He yelled in agony. The pain was starting to get to him, and he clenched his fist. "I hate you!" Alek yelled and punched Jack in the stomach and pulled out his knife. "I'm gonna kill you!" Alek yelled.
Willow could hear the noise coming from the house, she groaned. Was there really time for this, any minute they could be surrounded by blood thirsty zombies and those idiots were trying to kill themselves. She looked at the keys in her hand, she could just take off. Though it didn't feel like the right thing to do she started inching herself toward the jeep.
Jack pulled out a knife and hit Alek in the eye with the back of the hilt. Jack cussed at Alek and started into the house.
Alek stopped Jack and pushed him against a wall. "You're nothing. YOU'LL NEVER BE ANYTHING!" Alek pulled his knife out on Jack and cut his cheek. Alek walked out of the house and sat down in the backseat of the Jeep. "I want you dead." He said as he looked at the house in distaste.
Jack went into the house to get the guns and returned to the jeep. he sat in the passenger seat and put on his music and notebook. He ignored the blood of his cheek
As soon as they were both back in the Jeep, Willow took off, slamming her brakes a short distance away from the house. "Alright, here's the deal, you guys wanna kill each other fine, but it you endanger me then I will not hesitate to end you both. We shouldn't be fighting among ourselves, our enemy are the zombies."
....... Jack turned to the backseat where Alek sat. "Im sorry, friends?" A moment of silence past over the two.
"Yeah, we can be friends... Right when pigs fly and the sky falls." Alek sat back and stared off into the distance. He was always the outgoing kid. The weird one that people just liked to make fun of him. He didn't want friends at this point. He'd rather be alone than have these two as friends, but he owed a life debt to Willow. Jack on the other hand hadn't been useful whatsoever. It crossed Alek's mind to just off him now. All he had done this whole time was try to kill Alek with knives, and hadn't proven himself useful. Alek rolled his eyes at the thought of being friends with Jack. "Look, Willow. I'm not gonna try and kill him anymore, but he has a habit of putting my life in danger." Alek frowned.
Fine. Jack sat back and continued his normal procedures, ignoring everything.
"Well that will have to do for now." Willow looked off into the distance, seeing a hotel to her left. "I have an idea." She pulled off into the parking lot, which was eerily empty. "Let's see what we can find here.
And whats that idea? Jack said. he leaned his seat back and turned down the music.
Alek, eager to get out, hopped out of the Jeep and walked up to it. "Whether it's risking my life or not, I'm going in." Alek walked into the hotel, holding his gun that had two or three bullets left.
Ignoring Jack, Willow followed after Alek. "Don't just rush in to die, I know life sucks now but..." She really didn't know how to finish that. She pulled out her pistol and made it ready for whatever could come.
"Willow, I don't really need help." Alek said. But he was actually happy to have her around. Knowing someone accepted him was enough to keep him happy. He ventured in confidently with Willow at his side.
Jack sat in the car. locked the doors and decided he would watch the jeep that night. but the main reason was he was sick of the people he had teamed up with.
"Don't really care if you need help, I'm coming in anyway." Willow opened the first door, the room was empty but in disarray.
"You know what's odd?" Alek started looking around suspiciously. "I haven't seen a single zombie since I was at the school." He frowned. "Something just doesn't seem right. And why is this room empty? Hotels are usually filled with furniture." Alek was coming up with several question. All that he felt had the same reason, but he couldn't put his finger on it.
"Yeah, it is odd..." Willow closed the door on the empty room. "Maybe this place was abandoned years ago...or some super serious looters hit here." She tried another door, it wouldn't open.
"Who would wanna loot a hotel during a zombie apocalypse? What would they do with it and how would they get it out of here without a swarm of zombies crowding around them?" Alek clicked his converse shoes against the wooden floor. Even that sounded hollow. Not very sturdy. "Wait a second." Alek picked his shotgun up by the barrel and hit it against a wall as hard as he could. The place he had hit had broken. "This isn't very safe. This thing could collapse any minute now." He looked at Willow with worry in his eyes.
