Jack pulls himself into the passengers seat. "so where are we going again?"pain in his ankle distracted him. hopefully he could get bandeges soon.
Willow quickly turned a corner, "A medical tent, it went up when this first hit. I went through it before, more than enough supplies unless it was hit by other survivors. Should be there soon."
Willow urged the jeep to go faster, she could see in the distance the tent. Thankfully it looked free of zombies. She slammed the breaks on, causing the jeep to skid to a stop. "Hold back, I'm going to check if there's anything around." Pulling out her pistol she slowly made her way towards the tent, checking every shadow. Once she was sure the coast was clear she grabbed and empty, cleanish gurney and rushed towards the jeep. "Can you help me lift him up here?"
Jack got out of the jeep, and opened the back door. slowly picking up the boy and placing him on the gurney. He than helped her take him into the tent for treatment for the boy and his ankle. It hurt to walk.
Once inside the tent, Willow pointed to a chair, "Jack sit, I'll get to you next." She quickly fluttered from one cabinet to the next, grabbing supplies. She took the belt and handkerchief off the unconscious boy. "Now I know you probably can't hear me, but I can't put you under for this. I can only numb the area. You're going to feel the pain but bear with me." She took out a syringe and filled it with a local anesthetic, once filled she stabbed the needle into the knife wound. She worked quickly, within minutes he was stitched up. She checked the knife wound on his leg, making short work of that she bandaged him up and turned to Jack. "So, what did you do? Did you get bit?" Her hand went to the pistol on her hip.
Alek had still felt pain, but he was glad to know that he was getting better. Luckily, he was barely awake when Willow fixed him up, otherwise, he could've woken up at any moment and tried to kill the two people around him. He slowly lifted himself up enough to a sitting-laying position. He watched Willow's hand go to her pistol and he had a feeling things might not go too well.
"NO i did not get bit i cut my ankle on the hitch of the jeep i swear. no need to shoot me!" Jack started for bandeges himself and medicine and began applying them to himself.
Willow's hand fell from her pistol, "Alright, I just wanted to make sure. Times like this, its good to be extra cautious. Lemme help you with that." She held her hand out, hoping he would accept her help. "So, what were you before all this happened?"
Jack accepted the offer. " I used to be highschool student. but i began falling behind and things got hard. mom and dad both worked at the power plant that exploded and died. i was about to be taken away so i dropped out of school and all this happened
"Hey, you're lucky to even have a family." Alek muttered. "Didn't even know my parents..." Alek looked down at the floor and back up to Willow. "Dontcha think we should get going soon? You know, zombies. Could kill us any minute."
Willow took the bandages and antiseptic, "This is going to need some sutures, not that many but it will be painful." She filled another needle and jabbed it in his leg. "Jesus, your family was in the explosion." She looked at him with pity, "I'm sorry man." She quickly got to work on his sutures, making quick work of them. "Yeah, we can go, anywhere in particular? What's your name kid?"
"Well, it said in the news that nobody knows a safe place from zombies. Perhaps a place where they can't go, therefore none of the inhabitants of the place have been infected. I was gonna make that my goal. To find such a place. But then that kid," Alek pointed to Jack "had to run up and hit me with knives. Oh, and the name's Alek. I know you're Willow. I overheard you talking in the Jeep." He remarked with a smile. "But you..." He turned towards Jack. "I'll call you Stabby for now. No need to correct me. Now, I say we take a drive and look for a safer spot. Agreed?"
"Wait sense thier was only a explosion here does that mean other countries are not infected? oh and you (points to alek) any one would think your a zombie with how you dress and the way you smell.
"Maybe you're right. But how do we get across the ocean, Stabby? Got anymore bright ideas that DON'T involve throwing knives at possible teammates?!" Alek was gritting his teeth, ready to attack this guy any second.
"Yes, lets fight among ourselves, that will totally solve everything." Willow shook her head and started stuffing medical supplies into her bag. "If you have enough energy to bicker then you have enough to loot, grab what you can and lets hurry to the jeep."
Jack draws a huge butcher knife."hey Willow, i think he needs a amputation and im just the right guy for the job. oh and we could fly!
"Oh give it a rest, save your energy for the zombies." Willow was getting frustrated, she wanted to leave before they were met by others. "Come on!" She stepped out of the tent, wondering if they would realize that she had the keys to the jeep.
Alek pulled out his shotgun willing to make a move but remembered what Willow said. "She's right. As much as I want to remove you from our team, that wouldn't be helpful for our cause. Now, if you can handle it, grab something you might need later and meet me in the Jeep. Unless you're too cowardly to go on." Alek chuckled as he walked out of the tent clutching his shotgun. He hopped into the passenger seat of the Jeep. "Ready when you are, Willow."
Jack gets up and heads to the jeep. He did not know what to grab so he grabed a bag of medical supplies. He walked to the trunk threw the bag in and went to the passengers side seat, opened the door and grabed Alek. come on gimpy, your not tall enough to sit in the front + its my jeep. He picked him up and threw him in the back seat. Jack then got in front and buckled. they rolled away.
