He said turning to add a few more vegetables to his stew cooking."I've never brought any harm to you, I wouldn't... your really just the only person I feel I can trust." Landin said not meeting her eyes." I don't know to everyone I have this burning hatred but then you come along.... and I don't feel that with you." He said.

Fawn nodded slowly." Of course I wont tell them..." She said staring at him, she then walked over slowly and hugged him." Why is it we always run into each other at the worst moments, or the best?" She asked still hugging him.

- Nathaniel blinked when Fawn hugged him, but didn't hesitate to put his arms around her and return the embrace. He blinked and looked at her, surprised. "Ow, Fawn," he said. "That's great. Congratulations." He said earnestly, giving her a smile.

Fawn nodded and gave him a smile." Yeah our Elder Mage appointed me as her apprentice. I had helped her since I was little so I know a bit of what it takes to be a mage so I hope that enough.... other then what I saw her know I don't know much..... Eliza's cheeks reddened as he mentioned how she had slapped him. "I...that was...that was a misunderstanding going on inside me," she tried to explain. "I didn't...I didn't want to hurt you, but...it just happened..." She listened to what he was saying next, then realized that what he felt was pretty much summing up what she felt. Except for the burning hatred part. "I feel like I can trust other people, but...it's different with you," she said, staring at the stew he was cooking. "It's just...different. But not in a bad way."

Fawn looked down and shrugged." I don't know...." She said unsure looking down at the showy ground.

Landin looked over at Eliza and nodded." Yeah...it's different with me? When I'm around you I dont feel so angry and really that confuses me.... but not in a bad way.." He said looking back at his stew and then glancing over at Eliza." You are honestly the only one who doesn't judge me by how I act.."

Landin laughed as well nodding in agreement." Well, yeah I do seem to act without thinking a lot huh." He said looking over and giving her a small smile.

"You sure do," Eliza said, cheerily returning the smile and giggling.

A real smile formed on Landin's face as he looked at Eliza giggling. A laugh escaped his mouth as he shook his head." Yeah, yeah I know I'm a can be a blood hungry revenge seeker. That shall never change but yes I do do act stupid when I get angry" He smirked and laughed a bit more as he reached over and pulled some meat off the spick and tasted it." I think its cooked."

Eliza smirked and giggled out the rest of her giggles. She then looked at the meat as he said he thought it was cooked. "Really? Did you cook it right?" she asked, pulling a piece off for herself.

Landin smiled at Eliza and looked at the meat shrudging and shaking his head." I'm not sure.... what do you think?" He asked looking at it confused.

ooc; - Being a mage isn't just about knowing what herbs to use, and stuff like that. You have to have the gift for magecraft (the inner eye, kind of,) like... visions of the future, the power to be able to banish demons, as well as summon them. I can't explain very well... do you know what I mean, though? xD

bic; Nathaniel nodded. "You must," he said, "Or else the Mage wouldn't have picked you." A smile cracked his dry lips. "I.... I should go." he looked around. "Next time I'll see you, it'll probably be at the Mountain. Good luck, Fawn," he said, giving her one last look before he melted back into the trees.

bic; & candycorn - Nathaniel made his way back to the shelter. He was walking over to Sam to sit next to her. He paused when he saw Eliza and Landin quietly talking to each other and smiling. Eliza kept giggling. He shot Sam a confused look, then glanced at Landin and Eliza. "Since when were you two in love?" he asked, trying to keep the scorn out of his voice, but failing.

Sam gave a tiny smile to Nathaniel who had just returned, then sat up. She pretended to gag at Landin and Eliza. " Go jump off a cliff Nathaniel." Landin glared at Nathaniel and Sam laughed, then stopped thinking about the dream Nathaniel had where Sam pushed him off a cliff... Sam shook her head. She'd never do that...
