Eliza heard a faint whiz to her left and instinctively leaned out of the way. After a quick scan of the battlefield she concluded that the arrow had come from Fawn. Eliza scowled and snatched her own arrow, pulling it and shooting it back towards her, aiming for around her upper body.

Brian heard some muttering and before he could act, a searing pain burst in his arm. He winced and gritted his teeth as he heard a shrill laugh and sharp pains on his legs, seeing a Tokoroth (??) parading around him. He caught sight of Landin, a grin on his face, and tightened his grip on his dagger, kicking the Tokoroth (??) a few feet away before thrusting his weapon down on Landin's right shoulder.

How long has it been- like four years? Thank God for Subeta and Facebook. Should we make it start raining and thundering for dramatic effect? :D --

Rio yelped as she went down, pain in her ankle. The jerk had tripped her! She felt the wind get knocked out of her, and she clenched her fists and tried to inhale. She lay there, hearing Robin and the guy fighting, but then heard a crack. She got her breath back and was going to spring to her feet and grab her sword, laying a few feet away. Rio took a deep breath, and then started pushing herself off the ground when suddenly she was knocked back again. A weight was now on top of her. She squeezed her eyes shut, and then opened them to glare at the boy. He had her pinned down, his hand on her hand and his knee on her other. She squirmed around, trying to get out, but she couldn't. She turned her cheek against the dirt and looked around for her swords again. She stopped struggling when she realized she didn't really have much of an escape. Rio turned back, her eyes flicking to the dagger in his hand, poised to struck. Rio bit her lip, suddenly terrified. This boy was about to end her life. End it. Permanently. Rio held back tears and went limp, locking eyes with the boy. He looked so ready to strike, but then he faltered. Rio widened her eyes, completely shocked. "I... I can't.." The boy said, looking sick. "Um... what?" Rio's fear evaporated, replaced by utter disbelief. She narrowed her eyes and shoved the boy off her, pinning him down instead. She was wary that this was a trick of some sort. Her hand twisted his until he released the dagger that was about to stab her.

Sam's eyes flickered down to Marko's legs for a second, and then lunged forward, stabbing with her spear. Marko saw her look, though, and he jumped back just in time. Sam pushed forward, throwing in a punch. Her fist connected with Marko's jaw, a nasty plum color. Marko held a hand to his face, looking pained. His eyes narrowed in fury. "Aww. Is someone sad I ruined their pretty face?" Sam sneered. Yelling a curse, Marko dropped his weapons and flew at Sam, knocking her spear out of her hand and pushing her to the ground. The girl let out a yelp. Her ponytail came loose finally. It had gradually been loosening durning the fighting, and now her blond hair was splayed across the ground, dirt covered. Sam was not prepared for this. She wasn't that good at fist-fighting, and it was apparent that this boy was. Marko punched at her, Sam flailing around trying to get him off her and avoid his fist at all costs. Her hair got caught in a dried up bush, letting out a pained yelp as it pulled on her head. "Damn tangles," She muttered, then quickly blocked a punch with her hand. She pushed against it, but Marko's strength was greater. His fist pushed hers down sandwiching it against the earth. Sam felt her finger crack, letting out a piercing scream. Never before had she broken a bone. She was always careful. The pain was excruciating, almost made her cry. Marko seemed to hesitate a little, partially stunned by the scream and a little worried. Sam noticed this and played this to her advantage, letting herself cry. She pushed this farther until she was pretty much sobbing. Marko sat back. "Oh jeez, dear Lord," He said, forgetting about the battle. Sam took a moment to inspect her fingers of her right hand. That was her main hand that she used. She bit her lip and felt the tears stop. Who knew she was such a good actress? With a little push- like breaking her fingers- she could totally summon up tears that were somewhat fake.

She quickly shot another arrow back at her just as she shot hers. Fawn let out a yell as the arrow barely missed her shoulder, only cutting her . She quickly reached a hand to hold her shoulder and brought it back to the front of her face to find it covered in blood. She looked over at Eliza and glared at the other girl. She quickly took two arrows and shot them simultaneously at the girl. One arrow shot towards the girls side, it barely missed leaving behind a nasty gash in her side. The arrow embedded into a tree behind her. The second on flew towards her shoulder.

Landin growled and grabbed Brian's arm, keeping him from stabbing him in the shoulder. He tightened his grip on his arm and tried to push it away." Hello.... Brian..... see you have become cozy with the.... Deer Child.." He smirked and kicked out his feet from under Brian and pushed him to the ground and pushed his knees against his stomach trapping his arms against his sides in one swift motion. He held both knives to his throat. He moved one and cut at his cheek.@mousepath10

bic; "Um... what?" Rio said. Nathaniel snapped out of it and was about to tighten his grip on her, when she shoved him off her and pinned him down instead. Nathaniel cursed angrily. He could feel it starting to rain. The girl twisted his hand until he released his dagger. Great. I'm pinned down, and now I have no weapon. he thought furiously. I should have killed her when I had the chance. He started pushing against her, trying to get away. He shoved her hard, and then kicked her off him. Nathaniel pulled out his axes and stood up. Robin came towards him, holding a blade in her hand. "How's that sprained wrist?" Nathaniel asked, smiling slightly. "It's perfectly fine. I'm left-handed." she replied, smiling back. Nathaniel scowled and shook his head. Robin came for him with her dagger but he blocked it, raising one of his axes. He used the other axe at the same time, tearing a cut in Robin's side. She blanched and pulled away.

ooc; Uhm.. yeah.. idk. x_x Short post.

Rio grunted as she hit the ground again. She jumped back up, seeing him attacking Robin. She charged at him, pushing him from the side. "You and your friends, you're all seriously messed up!" She yelled, pulling a dagger from her knife strap and holding it to his cheek.

In case you haven't noticed, everyone is doing that. It's called a battle." he said sarcastically. "Or for being Soul Eaters? We don't believe in the same things as you, so what? And maybe it wasn't a choice to be this way. Maybe we were forced into it." he snapped, thinking of his father.

"How?" The guy challenged, narrowing his eyes. Rio opened her mouth to speak, but he cut her off, continuing. "For attacking you? In case you haven't noticed, everyone is doing that. It's called a battle." he said sarcastically. Rio rolled her eyes and was going to cut in again,but he kept going. "Or for being Soul Eaters? We don't believe in the same things as you, so what? And maybe it wasn't a choice to be this way. Maybe we were forced into it." She looked at him, her knife pulling away. "Forced?" She said, backing up. She looked around at all the other Soul Eaters, the other two girls and the other guy. Well. The other guy seemed to enjoy it all. "He probably didn't need much of a push," Rio muttured. She looked back at the boy, and then at Robin.

Sam turned back and punched him with her left hand, then scrambled up, wincing when her hair was still caught. She yanked at it, glad for the drizzle that helped her pull her hair free. She frowned when she some of her hair still on the bush, but it was ok. She turned back to Marko and pushed him while he was still recovering from her punch.

bic; "Forced?" The girl said, backing up and then looking around. "He probably didn't need much of a push," she muttered, talking about Landin. "Well I'm not him!" Nathaniel snarled. He was surprised at himself for being so aggressive. He shook his head and looked away.

OOC: Gehhh sorry, I have trouble replying to big posts XD I kinda skimmed all the posts XD

BIC: Eliza cursed as she felt throbbing pain in her side. She ducked to avoid the arrow coming at her shoulder. Then she slung her arrow over her back, scowling and thinking, This is crazy. I need to get up to hand-to-hand combat. She slid out her dagger and sped nimbly towards Fawn. Once she was a couple feet away she moved towards her left, then swerved to her right at the last minute and stabbed Fawn's side. Then she swung her leg and hit Fawn's knees to make her fall or at least stumble, and in a fluid motion she had Fawn pinned on the ground. She held a dagger to her neck. "Move or die," she snarled. But she felt a twinge as she said those words. Move or die? That wasn't much like Eliza. She rarely killed people. But she kept her glare on the other girl, deciding to just leave her with nasty injuries if it should be so.

Brian growled, finding himself trapped under Landin. "So? What do you care about her?" he snapped. He winced as Landin cut his cheek, then raised his legs and kicked Landin off a few feet away. Then he charged at Landin and cut his shoulder, what he had meant to do before, along with a flurry of swipes at him.

Rio stopped fighting, lowering her swords. She wasn't sure what to do now, but it didn't seem right to kill Nathaniel if he was forced to be a Soul Eater. Thinking about it confused her. Rio stood there dumbly, unsure how to continue.

Marko seemed to have disappeared, so Sam looked around, breathing heavily form the battle. She saw Nathaniel, and gave him a questioning look, wondering why the girl attacking him had stopped and was now looking confused.

- Nathaniel glanced at Sam, and just shook his head. He wasn't sure why Rio had stopped. It was probably something he had said.

Aaron was watching Rio and the Soul Eater guy, ready to help if Rio got into trouble. Suddenly, they stopped fighting. Why have they stopped? he thought, frowning. He took his chance when the Soul Eater was looking away. He ran towards him, and then raised his sword, about to kill him.

Sam was still watching Rio and Nathaniel when a movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention. One of the clan guys was charging at Nathaniel , sword raised. He looked ready to kill him. "NO!" Sam yelled, sprinting towards an unprepared Nathaniel. She realized a few feet away she left her spear, but she couldn't go back now. She shoved forward, pushing the guy away.

- Nathaniel looked up when he heard Sam yelling, "NO!", as she sprinted towards him. He frowned. What is she doing? he thought. She shoved Aaron, and that's when Nathaniel realized that Aaron had been behind him, ready to kill him. Aaron grabbed Nathaniel, keeping a strong grip on him as he lost his footing and tumbled down the side of the ravine, bringing Nathaniel with him.

Nathaniel felt something hard and flat slamming into his side. He realized it was a ledge, leering over a river at the bottom of the ravine. The ledge was large enough to fit him and the boy from the clan, who had also landed on the ledge. The boy seemed unconscious, but Nathaniel took out his sword, in case it was a trick. Nathaniel was waiting for him to wake up, when he noticed something. His eyes are open. he thought. How didn't I notice that before? His eyes are open... he's dead. He leaned forwards, looking for the fatal injury. There was a large crack in the boy's skull; he must have hit his head on a rock on the way down. Nathaniel took out a pot of ochre from his medicine pouch and made it into a paste. Then he covered his fingers with a leaf--so he wouldn't touch Aaron's body--and drew the death marks on him, so he wouldn't turn into a demon. Then he backed away from the body, wondering how he would find his way back up to the others.

Sam gasped, eyes wide, and covered her mouth with her hand. "No no no..." She said quietly as she scrambled to peer over the cliff side. She let out a sigh of relief as she saw him very much alive on a ledge. "Are you ok?" She called down, then her gaze moved over to a body beside him. "Is.... is he dead?" She asked, staring.
