- Nathaniel watched Sam quietly when she burst out, yelling at them all. He stayed silent, not saying anything to anyone, waiting for the others to react. Landin said nothing but stalked off into the forest, clearly angry. "Wait are we looking for Marra right now?" Sam asked as she came up to him. "No. We decided it was a bad idea. We'll leave for the mountain now... if you're done screaming at us, that is," he said coldly. He felt Fawn's hand still clasped around his, and hesitated before he pulled away. If Landin thought Fawn was his 'weakness' he couldn't make it obvious that they were friends, or more than friends. If he did, Landin or Marra might try to hurt her. "Come on." he muttered, indicating to Sam and Eliza, before he walked away, not turning back to say goodbye to Fawn. Maybe she wouldn't want to be friends with him if he was rude to her. Good... he thought. The less she's involved, the less she'll get hurt.

Robin smiled when Sky shuffled into the tent (hut, shelter, whatever it is!) and plopped down beside her. She opened her mouth to ask him how he was, when he planted a kiss on her lips. A light brush spread across her cheeks. "No, you need to lie down.'' Sky said, gently pushing her down and stroking her hair. "Sky, I'm fine, really," she said earnestly. She leaned in, hand on his neck, and gave him a kiss.

Fawn watched Nathaniel pill his hand away." But...." She looked at him, pain and confusion in her eyes as she watched him mutter to Sam and Eliza to leave.She watched him leave without saying goodbye, she was confused. It was not like Nathaniel to act rude towards her." Nathaniel..I...wait...."She wanted to ask him about it but she was too confused to form words.Why had he started acting so cold and rude to her.Why did he not say goodbye. She looked down at the knife he had given her still in her hands and then looked back up to see him walking away.Her hand went up to grasp the pendent that hung around her neck , she could feel tears threatening to fall but refused to cry again.She continued to just stand there, unsure about what to do, or what the painful feeling that seemed to engulf her was. Once again another person she seemed to care for walked out of her life, and she was not really sure about what to think.(TT.TT I feel bad for writtingsuch a sad post )

Landin made his way back to where the others had been only to see Nathaniel brush Fawn off and walk away without even a goodbye to her. He grinned, seemed like he was trying to put up a mask, trying to show that he did not really care for the girl. He smirked quietly making his way towards the girl from behind." Looks like you have been abandoned once again....poor poor little Fawn....poor weak Fawn." He said with a dark chuckle. Fawn Jumped when she heard Landin's voice behind her, she whipped around cluching the knife tightly in her hands, unfallen tears shown in her eyes." Leave me alone...." She said doing her best to glare at him." Oh what is this.... such a beautiful knife..."{ He said reaching out to grab it from her hands, but before he could he was met with a fist straight in the face again. Fawn glared at him as he stumbled back cluching at his nose once again." Damn dog.....yo-you punched me... how did you punch me!" His yell was muffled by his hands that held his nose which had started bleeding again." Mark my words.... you will regret that..." He said glareing at the girl and puching past her and walking up to the others.Fawn watched him leave and then leaned against a nearby tree for support.

bic; Nathaniel turned around when Landin came towards him, his hands over his nose. He looked furious. "Who messed up your nose again?" he asked, looking him up and down. He turned away, thinking about Fawn. It's better now... he thought up. He didn't like putting up the wall between them, but he had to. To keep her safe. She's better off with Brian. He's from her own clan; he's not a Soul Eater. He hasn't killed anyone.

Landin growled and looked over at Nathaniel, looking furious." You wittle girl friend freakn punched me.... SHE PUNCHED ME...HOW IN HECK DID SHE PUNCH ME...." His yell was still muffled because of his hands still cluching at his nose." He then grinned from behind his hands." She was crying you know.... she looked really broken.. I tried to take hat knife you gave her.. and she punched me. I did not even see it coming..."He said actually sounding shocked.He then glanced over at Nathaniel a serious look on his face."you really hurt her just now I hope you know that.... what ever is going on in that head of yours.... she looked worst then when I attacked her....I hope you know that...."He said glancing over at Him and then walked ahead of them.

Fawn pulled her knees up to her chestand layed her head on her knees taking a ahaky breath and falling asleep just as it started to snow.

Eliza bit back a nasty reply and set her flaring eyes on Sam as she shouted at them. Then she yanked her hair, an angry habit of hers, and stalked after Sam. Then she heard Landin grow angry about how Fawn had managed to punch him in the nose, and whirled back to face him. "Strong, much?" she said icily to him, her green eyes flashing.

Sam took her knife out of her belt and positioned the point of it on the palm of her hand. She had many little dots there on her palm, a habit she did when she felt very sad. She pulled the knife away to see the tiny little red dot grow a bit larger, before she knelt and put her left hand into a nearby stream, watching the red dot go away, but then return. She put her hand in and out, then jumped up to continue walking towards the North, where a mountain was growing closer. She hoped.

- "She was able to punch you because you're obviously not as strong as you think," Nathaniel muttered, rolling his eyes at Landin. He glanced at Sam when he saw her taking out her knife. "Sam, don't," he said, taking a step towards her. However, she had already made a tiny cut in her hand. She washed away the blood in a stream before she stood up, continuing on her way to the mountain. He walked into step beside her. "You shouldn't hurt yourself like that, you know. Maybe you should try saying sorry.... it hurts alot less."

Landin growled in anger at Nathaniel." Sh-she just caught me off guard.... its all your fault you know...." He spat ignoring everyone and walking to the streem wetting the cloth and trying to ash the smeared blood off his face.

Sam glanced at Nathaniel. "Uhm... Sorry?" The way she said it it soup need like a question. She coughed. The word felt odd in her mouth. "Sorry," She said again. -- haha emo Sam xD --

Eliza headed over to the stream after the rest of the group, blinking in surprise that Sam had actually attempted to apologize. She knelt to the edge of the stream and dunked her face in the cool water, relishing the feel of it.

"See? It's not that hard," Nathaniel said to Sam, flashing her a rare grin. "And Landin, how exactly was it my fault that Fawn punched you?'' he asked, turning to Landin for a moment. (idk)

Landin glared at Nathaniel." I saw how cold you were to her, thinking probably that if you got her to hate you then she would nto be harmed by me?Or someone else? She finally snapped...punched me straight in the face....you made her upset, I aplaud you really. Did not knwo you had it in you to push somone away so coldly.Seemed like somethign I would have done." He said now smirking, tryignt to bug Nathaniel.

- Nathaniel sighed and turned away when Landin started going on about how cold he was. "It was for her own safety, idiot." He snapped. He glared at Landin. "And unless you want another punch, I'd strongly suggest you shut up." He added with a growl.

Landin growled and smirked." Sure her safety.... we shall see about that... I not done having my fun yet...." He turned staring at Nathaniel straight in the eyes. His eyes were filled with somethign dark that mimicked his smirk." Go ahead and punch me... maybe I'll msend on of my beloved Tokoroth after her. Maybe while she is sleeping....hmm"
