OoC: BUMP this UP

((OOC: Oh, gawd, I didn't realize people had posted. I haven't been getting on for more than ten minutes a day, and so I've fallen behind. I'm back though.))

Ryan sighed. Everything was pretty much calmed down now, and people were starting to go to sleep. He noticed that Ashley was alone, and in his opinion, looked like she might be kind of lonely. He grabbed his duffle bag, and then walked over to her, and plopped down in the grass beside her. "Glad everything is calmed down?" He asked, grinning at her. His grin quickly faded to a wince as he realized that it hurt him to grin.

"I know that I sure am," he said, before he laid back in the grass, and put his arms behind his head. "Sorry about all that, by the way. I have a temper that can get really out of hand if people challenge me," he said.

 Benji was now aware that everything was over, and that people had left, and stopped crowding him, so he sunk down against the tree, and then leaned his head back. He was in slight pain, but he wasn't going to whine about it or anything, it would just make things worse. He let his eyes close this time, and then began to doze, though he didn't completely fall asleep.

Terri quickly left Benji alone, sensing his stress from being crowded, and looked around for Kaiden. She wondered why he was walking towards the woods, and turned when Sharlene called to him. She wasn't jealous of the other girl's concern like she was when Ashley was all over Ryan and like, 'are you okay?' when he was the jerk that started it in the first place. The girl folded her arms and frowned, realizing she was no longer attracted to the football star. She'd just let Ashley and Alivia fight over him for the rest of the trip.

The brunette started to walk towards Kaiden, putting a hand on his arm. "Uh, you probably shouldn't go out there, you know, so no one freaks out and thinks you got abducted by that creepy guy...That'd just make it worse on some of the more sensitive people..." Terri attempted to subtly hint that she wanted him to be safe, but wasn't sure if she succeeded or not. She blushed a little from her embarrassing sentence.

Kaiden noticed Terri walking towards him and then got goosebumps when she touched his arm. He looked at her and smiled being able to tell that she was worried. "But what if he needs help or something. Or maybe he can help us." The goosebumps still hadn't gone away from her touching his arm. If I am getting this feeling just from her touching me, what would happen if I held her hand? This sudden thought gave him the urge to do something bold. Kaiden being the comfortable guy he was around girls allowed him to easy reach over and grab her hand. Even though he was just holding her hand it all felt right. "Thanks for being here. He looked over and smiled at her again. But it was dark enough where she probably couldn't see it.

Ashley rolled over on her side as she saw Ryan come lay by her. She looked up at him "yes I am.. Are you ok?" She asked as she placed her right hand under her head. "it's not me you have to apologize to." She said as her eyes shifted to Benji and the others. She looked over to Alivia who was mostly on her own now. "You know you should be with Alivia, it will make her feel better." She said as she looked back at him and then down to the ground again..

OOC: bad post... Stupid writers block

Ryan glanced over at Benji, who was in a light sleep now, and then he glanced over at Alivia, who was alone. He felt bad for the drama queen. Yes, she was annoying at times, but wasn't everyone annoying at times? He frowned as Ashley told him that he needed to be spending time with Alivia. She was basically sending him away, even though he wanted to be with her. He frowned and then shrugged. "Yeah, I guess you are right," he said, before standing up, and then walking over to Alivia and smiling. "Hey, are you okay through all of this bullshit?" he asked.

He frowned as a smell similar to that of rusted iron mingled with his nose. "Uhm," he arched a brow and looked around. Not far from him, where he was pretty sure the bus driver was once standing, was a thick, dark trail of blood. It was hard to see in the night, but it was noticeable for someone with good eyesight. Ryan then looked around, and realized that some time, during all the comotion, the bus driver must have disappeared because he was nowhere to be seen.

His eyes went back to the trail of blood, and he slowly approached it. "I'll be right back," he mumbled to Alivia. He hoped that she didn't follow him, and notice the blood, because she would definitely panic.

Ryan glanced at the bushes that the trail led into, and then grimaced at the blood that was on the bushes. Slowly, he crouched, and moved the bushes. He gasped, and then stumbled back, afterwords. "Uhm, I don't think we should stop moving," he said, biting down on his hand to keep from screaming. The bus driver was dead, his chest cavity gone, and his throat slit. It had to be those redneck type people that they'd been seeing.

"I really think we should go," he mumbled again, still backing away. Ryan was one of the guys who never showed much emotion, but at the time, he had tears in his eyes, and was shaking horribly.

Terri seemed skeptical that the creepy redneck would want to help them, but shrugged. She squinted towards the rest of the group, struggling to see through the darkness. The girl was just about to wonder who was missing until she felt something touch her hand. A spark zipped from her fingers to every corner of her body, and turned. She was relieved it was too dark to see much of anything, since she could feel her face turn red. The girl nodded, not sure what to say at the moment.

"Uh, you're welcome," she mumbled, giggling a little in embarrassment.

Terri felt something was wrong, but didn't say anything. I should stop watching horror films...They make me too paranoid. she told herself, taking in a big breath.

Kaiden saw Ryan in the bushes and then heard him say that he thought they should keep going. What is he thinking? We can't keep going! It's dark. Why is he in the bushes though? Is he taking a piss? Kaiden let go of Terri's hand and walked over to Ryan. "Dude, we can't leave. It's frickin dark. Where are we going to go? We have to stay he......oh my god." That's when Kaiden realized why Ryan wanted to go and why his voice sounded so shaky. The bus driver was dead with half of his guts gone. Weirdly though he stayed relatively calm for just seeing a dead body. "Okay um ya we need to get moving. We can't tell the others about the bus driver though, alright? Especially the girls. It will freak them out to much and then no one will be able to think straight. You and me are the only ones who saw this and we need to keep it between us as well. Got it? And as soon as we get to a spot where we have service, we will call the police." Kaiden turned and walked to where the rest of the group was. He whistled to get everybody's attention and then spoke," Listen up everyone! I talked to Ryan and we think it's best if we get moving again. I know it's dark but we didn't get very far today and we have to move as much as possible before we run out of food and water. So pack up your stuff and let's get going. Does anyone have any flashlights or something? I have one, but that's not going to be enough." Kaiden went to the grass and started packing up his stuff. He was freaked out and just wanted to get away from this spot.

She wanted to tell him to stay she wanted to tell Ryan everything but didn't as she watched him get up and head over to Alivia. Slowly she looked away from the group and started to cry silently.

She heard Kaiden first. He was telling everyone they needed to leave. Ashley quickly stood up what were they thinking?! Everyone was so tried. He looked at the group as most were getting up and packing without even thinking about it. She walked over to Terri and looked at her confused. "Do you have any idea why were moving?" She said as she crossed her arms while looking at Ryan, she was confused about it but was not going to wait for answers. She looked at Terri and then waved. "I'm going to go find out." She said as she marched over to Ryan.

Once she reached him she was hit with the smell of iron. eww, she thought to herself. Ashley knew the smell of blood anywhere seeing as she couldn't stand the sight of it. She looked up at Ryan and figured it was because of the fight. she quickly grabbed his hand, instantly she felt a tingle and liked it, she smiled but it quickly faded as she faced him "Why the hell are we moving?" She asked as she looked up at him, with confusion in her eyes. She knew she should take her hand off his because Alivia would be upset but she didn't care she liked it, never once did her eyes go off into the grass were the bus driver was.

((OOC: I'm leaving the site for a little while... I need a break. So, erm, later people, and if you guys want this to go on, someone can remake it, OR someone can take over my characters. It doesn't matter to me. I might be back sometimes, when school starts back, but I doubt it'll be anytime soon. Sorry, and later. :) ))
